I was just wondering where ever one else travels to beside disney?? I am trying to find somewhere for my husband and I to go to other then disney this year :(

What do you like to do?

Everything but camping...

we used to travel to vegas once a year also... i dont really care to do that next year either.

oh i do need to keep it in the states... i would love to go to paris, but i need to do a passport first.

DH and I (and our kids, but they are 20 and 25, lol) like to go to Key West. It is very different from anywhere else we have been. It is historic, it has a vibrant art community, all kinds of water sports, a wild nightlife (which we don't participate in) and the most gorgeous sunsets. It is a real "escape" place for us.

Yep, we did that twice - once from Miami and once from Ft. Lauderdale. Very nice drive, but long.

This year we splurged and flew to Tampa and then on one of the 18 seat planes into Key West airport (during a T-storm!). That was an experience!

I do a lot of adventure travel. I went to Tuscany to cycle. I took trips to Phily, VA Beach, NIagara Falls, and some other locations to run. I plan on going to Germany and France to cycle and hike in the next couple of years and also to head over to Norway to kayak the fjords.

I don't go anywhere and not do at least a local 5K or something else active.

We went to Colorado over the summer and it was gorgeous. Saw the Rocky Mtn National Park and then went south of Denver to Pike's Peak and Garden of the Gods.

San Diego was gorgeous and we saw the zoo, Wild Animal Park, Seaworld, and a whale watching cruise. We did this in January and the weather was fabulous!

South Dakota, see Mt. Rushmore and Crazy Horse and the beautiful Black Hills and Badlands.

You could always do a big city trip to someplace you have wanted to see like NYC or Chicago, for example. Or, do a road trip from your city and see sights along the way.

It would be easier to narrow it down if you stated what you enjoy doing on vacation and when you're going.

We love cruising so that is one of our choices when we do a non-Disney trip.

When are you going? Passports only take about 5 weeks. We were in Germany this summer and spent a week in Garmisch. We had a great time there. We also spent time in Stuttgart, Rothenburg, and Munich. It's been several years since I have been to Paris. For the money, there are other places I would rather go.

We go to Vegas and we love to cruise !
We go anywhere we can Scuba but you are going to need a passport for the good spots:thumbsup2

We go to Europe, Hawaii and for short mini-vacations, we fly to Las Vegas. Our favorite places in Europe have been Paris and Venice. Our favorite island in Hawaii is Maui.

We have done a few cruises and have hated them.

California- Yosemite Natl Park, San Fran, Monterey and San Diego (You then can piggy back a DL vacation as well :)

We've also enjoyed Chicago.

We are thinking of either a Portland or North Carolina trip in 2010. My Dad died this past summer and now we are thinking of taking my mom to San Diego and do the Hotel Del Coronado again as she would enjoy it very much I believe. She really has been struggling with him being gone. I can't imagine losing my wife.

Anyways our kids favorite vacation (yes even better than Walt Disney World) was Hotel Del Coronado in San Diego and Disneyland. They love it in California and I have to agree!!!!
