I would use one of the bags for snacks. We flew Southwest and that is what we did, brought along Goldfish, Pop Tarts, granola bars, cookies, pretzelsWe are flying. Got a good deal, just 119 pp plus 2 free bags! It's about 150.00 more then driving costs (gas, tolls), but I would have to add in hotel costs to that. I'm the only adult so I have to drive and driving non stop doesn't work for me, PLUS, we would be in Disney in 2.5 hours, if we flew, which we are.
Thanks for ALL the tips,

In that bag I also brought glowsticks (from the $ store) plus a few small toys to keep DD & DN entertained. I found bubble blowers (just like the ones sold in the parks) at WM in the Summer clearance aisle - even not being on clearance they are cheaper than at WDW. I got DN and DD shirts and hats from the DS (they have a lot of great sales), as well as cute Mickey bracelets and autograph books from Ebay. Once we got to WDW they did not want everything they saw

You can check around for discounts (or discounted gift cards) for places on Disney property that are not run by Disney. I got gift cards to Wolfgang Puck's from Costco and saved 20%. If you are a member of My Points you can redeem points for Landry's restaurants gift cards (Yak & Yeti, RFC and TRex). Swagbucks is a good rewards site, easy to get points for very useful cards - even if they are not to be used "at" Disney. I just got a carry-on rolling bag from Amazon by using cards from Swagbucks
