When you get a free Target Gift Card the cost of it is added into the total cost of your purchase. So the sub total will be $60, then $10 is subtracted for the free gift card.
What that line means is that you cannot spend $40 and adding the gift card makes it $50. Or that you spend $45 and $5 tax would make it total $50.
Also, GiftCards is the Target brand for their owngift cards.
This is EXACTLY what it means. I have used this coupon to purchase both Target Giftcards AND other merchant Gift Cards. When I look at my receipt it shows a total purchase of $60.00 [$50 Giftcard PLUS $10 Bonus Giftcard] then it takes of the coupon of $10 for $50 due.
