Our first morning at DL will be a Sunday morning (June 24) and it's a nonEE morning. On the trip will be me (possibly pg at the time), my dh (who doesn't ride any thrill rides) and our three year old ds. Where do you start on these kinds of mornings?

Oops -- I'm editing my post because I had originally thought you were asking what to do on a EE morning. Then I re-read your post and realized you were talking about a non-EE morning. Disregard my previous message!!
I know a lot of people still head to Fantasyland on their non EE mornings -- and get to the park 30-40 minutes before opening. Those rides like Peter Pan and Dumbo get long lines pretty quick. In the unofficial guide to DL, it gives different touring plans, which can be helpful to make good use of time (just alter them to suit your needs for your family). My girls are big into Fantasyland, princesses, and then we make sure we hit Jungle Cruise, Thunder Mtn. (only my oldest can ride that one) Pirates, Haunted Mansion, etc. You can get a book and it will tell you what rides to hit and certain times of day. Or if you want, I can look something up for you if you'd like! :wizard:

Fantasyland is *always* a good place to go at park opening - assuming you are AT the gate when Disneyland opens, you can do a lot in the first couple of hours while most people are still arriving. And the lines for those attractions move pretty slowly, so it's best to do them when the lines are short/non-existent. You might also want to go to Toontown right when it opens (one hour after the rest of the park opens).

How do you find out if it is an EE day???

We are planning on doing EE into FL and Toontown Madness the next day, so I wasn't sure I wanted to start in FL...:confused3

I would head straight to the new Nemo ride. That will have the longest line during the day. You can do that ride and then Autopia, which, despite have FP, also can develop a long line.

On our nonEE day last year, we went straight to Autopia with our young kids and got right on.

The Storybook Canal boats and Casey Jr in FL are not open during EE so you can try those as well.

Then, if you then want a long walk, you can hike it back to the Pooh ride.

So:
Nemo
Autopia
Storybook Canal
Casey Jr
Pooh

Have a great trip!

We always start with peter pan in this situation we like to ride it multiple times during the trip and the lines are generally shortest in the morning on non EE days. Usually after that we do matterhorn since that line gets crazy and it has no FP. Since nemo should be open when you go and if you are interested in doing that ride I would ride that first. That line will be the longest throughout the day I'm sure!

I always start in Tomorrowland when it's not EE!! We hop on Buzz, Space and Autopia in a matter of minutes usually!! Of course with Nemo coming, that will most likely be our first stop from now on!!

EE Days are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

Thank you, I will be there for two EE days, YIPPEE!!! EE days the park opens an hour earlier to resort guests, is that correct??

We do not know whether the Nemo subs will be an ee ride. And even if it is, I think Fantasyland would be more productive on the day we do our EE than starting in Tomorrowland which doesn't have as many ee attractions. So my plan right now is to start there on the day when there is no early entry at all. I anticipate not only long lines for Nemo but also a spill over effect on nearby rides in Tomorrowland. We also don't like criss crossing the park all that much, so we're going to get all those in right then too. We plan to both fastpass and hit Space after Nemo so we can ride it twice while we're in Tomorrow Land. After that it is Autopia. After Tomorrowland is done, we plan on getting out of that particular section of the park for the remainder of the day.
