Where do you order your Digital Memory Books

So when all the hard work is finished who do you use to print your digital photo book and how do you like them?

It depends on if you want the traditional "album and pages" look or if you want a bound book. I've done it both ways....for the 'traditional" album, I just buy an album at Archiver's/Target/Walmart, and then order the pages printed from scrapbookpictures.com......they run lots of sales, and I always order when the 12x12s are $2.49. Their shipping is only $2, and that saves a ton, as other sites are "cheaper", but the S/H drives the cost way up. I've never had a problem with them, and I've ordered hundreds of layouts and regular 4x6 pictures from them.

For bound books, I've used Shutterfly. I got some 8x8 books for free awhile back and made them as gifts. They turned out nice, and they take up way less space on the bookshelf than the traditional albums do. So either or, whatever you prefer.......I still kinda like the traditional album thing.

Hi,

Thanks for your help I am looking for bound books. I made 2 in the past -not that great had not found this amazing section of the disboards. I used picaboo. The books are nice but they only do up to 11 x 8 1/2. I have noticed many places are doing the 12 x 12 bound books. Has anyone done this size and are you happy with it? My thoughts were to possible change to that size since almost all digital papers and elements are based on 8 x8 or 12 x 12. Of course this would mean that my first 2 books would not match in size but I have at least 12 trips I need to do so that really should not matter much. I am thinking I could fit more pictures on a 12 x 12.
I will check shutterfly out. Anyone else have any places they get their bound books printed?

I don't do "digital scrapbooking" but I do order books so my family can enjoy the pictures while I'm "scrapping" them since I am so far behind.

I've used Winkflash and haven't had any problems with them. I noticed this week they have a 12 x 12 option now.

i have done 12x12 and 8x8 with shutterfly and have been happy with both. I have also done 8x8 with Creative Memories but they are priced muc higher. Shutterfly often has a 20% sale so you can use there pages and change each page and theme. For my 8x8 i used there. For my 12x12 book, i created all my layouts on PSE program then i inserted them as a single photo on each page. I was happy with it. Both methods turned out fine

The general discount is 20-30%, however they are always having great specials that they announce to consultants where you get an even better deal! I tend to stock up on printing credits during the specials, because I know I'll use them at some point. I've even earned some free print credits through incentives too.
