where do you order your checks from bank or online? cheaper?

I buy from both Unlimited checks and Walmart, I first go on both sites and see which checks I want and then order from who ever has it.
I always buy Disney checks.
This time I brought from Unlimited Checks.

Those who ordered from Costco, did you do the free shipping option or did you pay for secure shipping?

I think I did the secured shipping. It's been so long since I had to order since I pay most everything electronically now. But, being the paranoid person I am, I probably did secured.

If you weigh it out --- consider the cost of secured shipping and % chance they will be lost in the mail + cost of canceling a block of checks with your bank.

Thanks for this thread. I also need to order some paper checks and this is good information to have. I typically order the cheapest thing the bank offers but it is about thirty dollars for a box of wallet style / basic safety paper. I will look into some of these options.

Does anyone know if you have to have a sample of your current check to order these checks ? Recently I opened a brand new checking account at a new bank. I did not yet order checks for it as I wasn't quite ready to change yet. Do you know if you can just provide them with the information on the checks instead of an actual sample of the check ? first time order ?

I had been using checks unlimited to get my Disney checks, but needed to downsize the budget. I called my bank and can get standard checks mailed to my home for free!

Best deal in my opinion.
