Where do you like to eat your first meal at Disney?

Do you enjoy chilling at the resort and eating there? Heading off to a park and grabbing a bite? Or is there a specific restaurant you always have to start your trip with?

Depending on our arrival time either Fulton's Wharf in Downtown Disney or Olivias at Old Key West (our Vacation Club home resort).

Chef Mickey's is always a must for us. Depending on our plans, we either start or end our trip at Chef Mickey's.

First night we always go to DTD, and usually eat at Rainforest.

We always start off at DTD and eat at HOB before hitting the shops. It's a great way to get into the Disney spirit. Especially when you get in later in the day and don't want to use a day of your passes.

Our first meal is at ESPN. We leave Boston early and stay at the BWV. It's a natural fit while we wait for our room if necessary.

Our first meal varies but our first full day once everyone arrives is Kona for breakfast and lunch at Cinderella's Royal Table. My husband would skip the latter but agrees because the rest of us love it!

We always start with Chef Mickey's. We do this for a couple of reasons. We can ride the Monorail to get there and we like to ride it around once so that we can see MK and the castle. Then when we get to Chef Mickey's we get to see the Big Cheese right off the bat and get into the spirit. It's such a fun place, noisy, but lots of fun!! Almost forgot-the food is usually very good.

My best friend and I travel to WDW at least once a year. Our first meal is always a burger and milkshake at Steak and Shake, followed by breakfast the next moring at the Crystal Palace.

If we are arriving late in the day and not doing a park until the next day then it is Chef Mickeys for a late dinner. OUr first day is usually in the MK and we will eat in the Castle.

We usually arrive mid-morning, check in, then head to the Columbia Harbor House in MK because: everyone loves the clam chowder in a bread bowl; it's quick, cheap, and almost never crowded; and it's so close to HM, which is everyone's favorite attraction. We're going without our kiddies in November, and I KNOW dh will stick to the plan even if we could go anywhere else in the World. He's already talking about it!

It is our new tradition to go to Chef Mickey's for dinner on the day we arrive. I am usually too tired to want to wade through a park so I would rather get into the Disney spirit with the character dinner there.

After a day of travelling, we like to have our first meal at the Flying Fish. It's such a nice enviornment and the food is outstanding. You can spend time walking around the Boardwalk and Yacht Club hotels, take in the sites of the Boardwalk area, and do a little shopping! It's really relaxing and gets us into the Disney spirit.

Another vote for Chef Mickey's. We usually don't go to a park our first day, so we get in the spirit at dinner with Mickey and the gang. Since our flight got changed we are arriving a day early this time and already had our ps for Chef Mickey's made for the original arrival day.

We always go to the MK on the day we arrive and we usually are there by lunch time at LTT and then always dinner at the Hoop Dee Doo. That way we always get an extra day in the MK too since we always go back to the park at least once during the rest of vacation.

Since we are flying from Alaska, it takes us forever to get there. We usually arrive around 7pm and by the time we check in and get a little settled, it is late and we are exhausted. Our first meal is usually from our food court. When we are that tired, whatever fills our bellies is usually ok with us. However, we try to do something special for our first morning breakfast. Dawn
