Where Do You Keep Your Money and Tickets at the WaterParks?

 I was wondering if most people carry their money on them at the Waterparks or rent a locker? If you carry your money and tickets, how do you keep them dry?

I have purchased a beach safe/water wallet for our trip to TL. It is on a cord that you wear around your neck. I will put the tickets and money in a ziploc bag and then inside the water wallet.

We got ours through the DIS shop here. I know some people have gotten one at Wal-mart. However, our store doesn't carry them. I also think you can purchase one at the waterparks.

We get a locker EVERY time - the hassle factor is minimal... the reasssurance that everything is safely locked away is priceless. Nothing like lost or stolen wallets, cameras, park passes, etc. to ruin the magic.

Do you worry about the water wallet coming dislodged from your neck? I was wondering how hard it is to keep it in place, especially considering the jostling it must get on the water slides. We've always rented a locker in the past.

I guess we're too trusting because we keep our money (which isn't much, maybe $10-20) and our room keys, in one of our shoes by the chair!

I purchased for my DH and myself a hard plastic water proof wallet. This is on a cord that you place around your neck. When he goes on the waterslide he gives his to me to wear. I have used the last 2 times at WDW they were about $5 each. His could have been less as it is smaller only about 1/2 inch thick. Mine is 1 inch thick to hold the extra cash and room keys for my kids and myself. I liked it so much I used all over the parks. I didn't have to worry about if I had my tickets or $ if I had this on I had it all.

PS I charge everything to my room keys so I dont have to carry all my cash just carrry enough to purchase those Mickey Bars LOL

I always get a locker-- and keep the car keys, room keys, tickets, and large amounts of money in there. However I usually keep $10-20 at my chair for little things-- so I don't always have to go back to the locker. I usually put it in a pocket of my bathing suit cover-up.

I know it could get stolen. Every $10-20 counts, but it wouldn't ruin the trip if it were gone. It's risky and I accept full responsibility for the fact it could go missing.

Many years a go I purchased one at BB. I wear it around my neck and tuck it into my suit when riding the slides.

I've been using my around the neck water wallet for five years at various different water parks. (My DS loves water parks. We've been to Schlitterbahn in Texas, White Water near Atlanta, Typhoon Lagoon, Blizzard Beach. His goal is to go to all the water parks on The Travel Channel's top 10 list. While that's not likely to happen, we go to lots of water parks.) Anyway, that water wallet has been through a lot and has never failed me. It has an adjustable clip that lets you adjust how loosely it hangs. I, too, tuck it into my suit when I am on a particularly rough ride. (Yes, he drags me on those!) I usually put my car key (only the one key that opens the car), my room key / charge card -- when I'm at WDW -- and a little cash -- $20 in it. I've seen bigger ones than mine, but I've never felt the need to have one. We don't bother with a locker. We take our towels, our water wallet, and one bag with sunscreen, water bottles, etc. in it. We dump our stuff as fast as we can and spend almost no time back at our chair.
