Then I put it in the microwave for a few seconds and she eats it like she's hasn't had anything to eat for days! I will keep a bottle of water for her bottles at room temp so hopefully if I use the formula for her cereal that will be warm enough. I guess I'll try to break her out of the habit now!
Refresh my memory, will she be eating table food at 7.5 months? I can't remember!
Thanks!
Thanks! I have to check into the mill. That would be great to have at the buffets. Do you remember where you bought it?alloyd1170 said:If we are going to eat somewhere close, I will nuke the baby food longer. I will also ask for a cup of hot water and let the container soak in it for a little while. I serve her fruit cold which she likes, plus eases the pain of teething. Veggies are served warm, as well as cereal. She too makes a face and wont eat those if cold.
The other thing you could do is get a food mill (Kidco makes one). You can easily mash up a banana, or order some plain (no sauce or seasoning) veggies and puree them with the mill. Problem is then you have the mill to haul (its not big, but is something else to carry). I used it on our cruise over the holidays. Beats hauling jars of baby food. This time around, Ive been making my own baby food and it tastes a whole lot better than the jarred stuff! I just buy fresh fruit, frozen veggies, rinse, steam, and puree in the food processor.
For snacks, my 6 mos old loves those little meltaway puffs (Gerber Graduates-come in banana, strawberry/apple, cherry, sweet potato). She still gagged on Cherrios. I put them in a Cherrios dispenser, or a ziploc.

I plan on using them in March during our trip. Also, any restaurant would heat a jar of food or bottle.![]()

I agree, Liz. You can easily heat up your baby or toddler's food in either the Baby Care Center or a restaurant. I wouldn't want my baby to have to settle for something other than they're used to for convenience sake. IMO, it isn't fair to them.lizann said:I always warm my baby's food berfore serving. Paul looks great, BTW! What a big boy!
Amelia was born 7 1/2 weeks early (at 2lbs 13oz) and spent 22 days in NICU. It's amazing to watch them grow, isn't it?!
