kml2000,
Timeframe? Good question. If you have a set date and you see an auction that works for you then I would go ahead and bid. The auction you are bidding on does indeed have a surcharge and it is for the smaller 1-bedroom unit (partial kitchen). These units are about half the size of the full kitchen 1-bedroom units and do not have a washer/dryer or jacuzzi. And I think it has a queen instead of a king bed. The larger unit shows up in the RSG inventory regularly and you dont have to pay the surcharge. However, as you probably have seen there is currently nothing for July and most likely there wont be for awhile. So, if the smaller unit suites your needs and paying a little more doesnt bother you, then I personally would go ahead and win the auction so you dont have to worry about it anymore.
