Where do you get the Disney info?

Well, we leave in 5 days...am I ready? NO!

Where do you get info online about which port we're going to be using, where our stops may be if Ivan goes away, etc? I went to the Disney Cruise site, but couldn't find it there?

My Disney chrystal Ball says that if you're asking about your excursion ports of call and if they'll be open after all the hurricane damage you'll either have to call Disney directly or your TA.

As far as other news, my Disney fortune teller says that if you don't remove one of your counters the HUGE DIS Board fairy is going to have a sullen fit.....only two are allowed....

OK, call travel agent...got it! I thought I'd heard somewhere that Disney has an online site where they post info. Must be going crazy...oh, sorry, already gone!

Unless something ELSE catastrophic happens, I think you can plan to embark from Port Canaveral. If you're on the Magic, she's scheduled to leave on the 18th for an Eastern Itinerary and I haven't seen anything that would cause a problem for that with that except for probably Castaway Cay.

Don't count on knowing about CC until you're on board. I think I'd mentally prepare myself for NOT stopping at CC and if you DO, that's a bonus.

Continue to monitor the boards since there are several of us that are compulsive about posting info on Tropical Storms so if something is on the horizon you'll know before you go.

Disney has posted a couple of announcements as pop-ups on the DCL website so if you check the site, be sure you have pop-ups enabled. I think specific info about changes if usually handled on board.

Go with an open mind, plan to have fun and you will.

Be sure that DCL has a number where you can be reached before the cruise--that is, if you are going to WDW or to visit grandma before you sail, be sure that they have a cell number or know which resort you'll be at. That way, they can reach you IF they need to change ports, etc.

As to the cruise, the captain makes decisions on a day by day basis and announces them on the PA. They will do the scheduled route IF it is safe.
