Where do you get seabands?

I went to Walmart and Target today and neither one had them. Does anyone know where I can purchase them and their costs. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I know they sell them onboard the ships. I bet you could also try a smaller local pharmacy or a walgreens or brooks? Good luck.

We found the Sea Bands at our grocery store (Kroger), and they were cheaper than Walmart.

Word of caution. They say 'one size fits all', but I found them to be pretty tight (and my wrists are not big at all). My husband tried his on and immediately broke it (his wrists are NOT small!).

you should find them at Walgreens, Eckerd, and drugstore really. They are gray and I agree very snug on the wrist. To tight for my comfort.

Three of our local grocery store pharmacies had them. They were all at different prices as well. Finally got them for $7.99 each.

When you wear them, do most people wear one on each arm? They are more expensive than I expected and I was surprised they do not come in pairs.

thanks

Yes, you are supposed to wear them on each arm, and mine came 2 to a box.

When I bought them they did come in pairs and were $7.99 pr. I also found them at a pharmacy/drug store rather than Target or Walmart. The entire group had them and we loved them.

It took me a while to find them, but I eventually found them at WalMart. They were in one of the pharmacy aisles, but they were hanging from one of those displays with all the little plastic hooks, kind of by themselves. I bought 2 sets. One set is a gray/light blue color, and the other set is Navy blue. I thought the only difference was the color, and figured it would be good to have 2 different colors so my husband and I would be able to differentiate ours. When I got to the register, the Navy set was more expensive than the gray set. The gray set was $7 something but the Navy set was over $8. Once I got home, I checked them out and wouldn't you know it, the Navy set is slightly larger (wider) than the gray set. This works well for us because my husband is 6'4 and will be using that set. I didn't realize they made 2 sizes for adults. Now I'm looking for the child's seabands for my daughter. WalMart didn't have the kids set, so I'm looking at smaller pharmacies. If I don't find the kids size, I'll just get another set of gray for her. Hope this helps.

Oy gottaluvdis! I wish I had known they came in larger sizes. My poor husband was so sick on the March 20 cruise and his did not fit!

I looker every place imaginable here in MO...all the way from small pharmacies to grocery stores to discount stores. I finally asked the pharmacist at the Medicine Shoppe, she had to order them in. She said nobody has ever asked for them before. They actaully ordered extra to have on hand. I think I paid 6 or 7 fpr each of them. I actually have really smal wrist, I can wear little girl bracelets.....so I had her order a child size and a reg adult size. The adult size was perfect, it's a light grey/blue. The child size is kind of a tie die color and is perfect for my 6 yr old DS. I get car sick very easily and found this helps out and works a lot faster than Dramamine (sp), without the drowsiness.

Sorry to hear that your husband was so sick! I never realized there were 2 sizes either. The last time I wore these was over 7 years ago when I was expecting my daughter, and I had the regular gray ones. We're not really prone to any type of sickness, but since none of us have been on a cruise before, we figured we'd have them on hand (or wrist, so to speak), just in case.

Got mine at CVS for about $9.00 a pair.

My one-size-fits-all are snug and my wrists aren't that big. I quess they need to be snug to work. I've never used them before so I'm bringing my Bonine as a backup.

The Rite-Aid brand available on drugstore.com also warns about using them if you have a latex-allergy.
