Another vote for Correlle as well. And, yes, it is still made in the US... in Corning, NY.
If you happen to be near outlets, you could buy it in pieces and get just what you need.
I also found it in white on the Walmart site for a great price.

I didn't need or want cups and saucers so that was not a breaking point for me but they also had a standard round glass set with the cups and saucers for the same price. 
And, they're made in the USA! 
Some of it is made in the USA, but some is not.
