Where do you fly into when flying to Disneyland?

Could be different coming from other areas of the country but there are many direct SEA/SNA flights to choose from and the prices are not all that different.

IMO the hassles of flying in or out of any airport other than SNA is just not worth the small savings. And the savinds were smaller than ever this time. Less than $20 a ticket between SNA and LAX.

Coming from Calgary there are no direct flights. I would be flying into sna all the time if there was despite the cost difference. Unfortunately that can be as high as 100 dolllars per ticket sometimes with a connection if you do not seat sale.

Jet Blue into Long Beach - I love that airport. Roll off the plane. 100 steps to luggage 50 steps to rental car buhbye.


(never really counted the steps , but it is that easy.

we fly in from hawaii, and have always flew to LAX. being a family of 5, we save hundreds of $$$ flying to LA than to SNA. We usually arrive real early in the morning or late afternoon after traffic, and haven't been stuck YET either coming or going to Disneyland.

I go into Long Beach on jet blue. I must admit I have the security there. Last time, I had to take off my shoes, socks, belt, and glasses. They patted me down with something that they said was made to detect the scent of explosives. A bit intrusive, but after that no problem. Plus the LB airport has free WiFi, so as a computer geek thats a plus.

How far is SNA from Disneyland. I believe we arrive around 9:30AM in December and was wondering how long it would take from there to get to DL.

It's approx. 15 miles. Depending on whether it's a weekday in Dec, and your mode of transportation (cab, bus, shuttle, rental car), the amt. of time to get there will vary.

We are flying into SNA for $118 round trip from PHX on Sept 27th, LAX was $97 round trip, just to give you an idea of cost difference.

From Portland, OR there are lots of non-stop flights to LAX for around $200 each... going to Long Beach or SNA most if not all the flights have a stop in Seattle first (which is the wrong way!!) and cost more $$ $60 or more per ticket in some cases... so LAX it is for us...

That sounded odd to me, as we have friends who come from OR all the time and they always fly nonstop into SNA. You must have gone at a bad time or something, I checked expedia and put in random dates in June 08 and got only an $8 diff between the nonstop to LAX and the nonstop to SNA on AA. Even the least expensive nonstop was only $15 cheaper. Alaskan also does a regular nonstop to SNA from PDX.
Long Beach does NOT have any direct flights from PDX, that is the one that sends everyone through Seattle. But it is a very small airport too.
Maybe you'll get lucky for your next trip and catch a flight through SNA!

We are flying into Burbank which is a little farther, but we are flying Skybus from Columbus directly and paid $150 round trip per person. My DH flies into Burbank and John Wayne for business and prefers John Wayne, but for that cost, we'll deal with Burbank!

I guess we here in PHX are lucky when it comes to price. My toss up was super shuttle was going to run $27 a person per trip to and from DL coming from LAX. Or only $10 a person for SNA, so to pay the extra money for SNA tickets was worth it for me.

Im to young to rent a car...
