I was wondering where your favorite places to eat in EPCOT are. There are so many choices, I'm a bit overwhelmed :confused3

Coral Reef - love the atmosphere with the aquarium view + we've had excellent meals there as well

Are you looking for CS or TS? What type of foods to you like? My family likes Sunshine Seasons so many choices of counter food. For TS we like Chefs de France and Rose and Crown. check out menus and see what type of food you would be interested in. http://allears.net/menu/menus.htm. Hopefully this helps.

Right now we are looking for TS because we're planning those in advance. Any CS suggestions are welcome too as I'd like to jot them down and bring them to the parks in case we come across them

It really depends on your tastes and what type of experience you're looking for...Do you want entertainment? Do you like being seated with people you don't know? Characters? Fine dining?

Most people will scream Le Cellier....I like Teppan Edo a lot, and Chefs de France. There are characters at Akershus and Garden Grill. Biergarten is fun, but loud....Coral Reef is different.

There is really something for everyone...

Well, we always love to eat at Tutto Italia. We have eaten there several times and always have a wonderful meal. Now, if you are not on the DDP, then yes it can be a little expensive. I am a vegetarian and they are always accomodating. It is usually a little loud in there, but nothing too bad. We are trying Chefs de France this time around since we have kept with the same place. Although, I did make a reservation at Tutto, since we have a little time to think about it and may decide to stick with Tutto! GL deciding where you eat.

Have really enjoyed Rose & Crown/England, Le Cellier/Canada, Coral Reef/The Seas, Les Chefs de France/France for table service...trying Tutto Italia in September

Love Sunshine Seasons/The Land & Tangierine Cafe (Morocco) for counter service

Love Kringla Bakeri/Norway for bakery snacks

Biergarten was o.k., but don't like the table arrangement in there (we had really bad table-mates that took away quite a bit from the fun experience there)

Haven't tried Mexico, Japan or China...don't like Mexican food all that much & we do Asian food quite a bit at home so not too interested in the restaurants there when there's so many other choices.

I love Rose and Crown. We make sure to go there every visit. DH loves Chefs de France.
Another favorite is Tutto Italia.

This year for Girls Only, we are trying Garden Grille, Coral Reef and LeCellier.

For a "nice" meal - Le Cellier (love the cheddar cheese soup, the breads, and the steak - and the chocolate whiskey cake).

For a fun meal with plenty of yummy food - Biergarten (lots of great choices, great band, beautiful interior, but you do sit with other people if you are not a part of 8, which can sometimes be bad but usually is not at all, and can be fun!)

San Angel is beautiful, hard to beat the atmosphere - not the best Mexican you'll ever have, but not "bad" by any means (IMHO) and you can't beat the setting.

Chefs de France I found a bit over-rated, honestly. OK, and we'd go back and try a lunch instead of dinner, but it didn't come close to living up to all the hype. I think too many people get excited by the word "France" in the name!

Counter service:

Sunshine Seasons is by far the best CS in all of WDW.

Tangerine Cafe in Morocco has interesting choices.

Orange chicken in China (and the strawberry red bean ice cream!) is quite good.

Mexico counter service outside is almost as good (some people think better) than the inside San Angel TS resaurant.

Hard to ruin Fish n Chips from England.

Enjoy!

Tutto- great food
Teppen Edo- good food & fun
Coral Reef- Good food awesome atmosphere

By the tag in your signature, I can see you are going to be in the World during "free" dining. It is pretty tough to get an ADR for Le Cellier at this point. I made most of ressies a while ago, but have been adding a few here and there (we are heading down about a week before you). Make your ressies now though! Don't wait any longer! Good luck. :)

oh wow, Corinne is right...if you don't have dining reservations for table service yet, you better get on line and start booking now. Free Dining fills up the slots very fast.

If you have no luck getting Epcot restaurants, consider trying the Epcot resort restaurants (Cape May Cafe/Beach Club, Captain's Grille/Yacht Club, ESPN Club/Boardwalk, etc.) You can walk from Epcot to these locations through the International Gateway. They don't fill up quite as fast as the restaurants in Epcot.

Right now we are looking for TS because we're planning those in advance. Any CS suggestions are welcome too as I'd like to jot them down and bring them to the parks in case we come across them

The only TS I've done at Epcot is Garden Grill. It gets a bad rap most of the time, but we liked the food and characters, and would go there again. I look forward to trying Biergarten next time.

We've only done a few CS:
Sunshine Seasons in The Land, excellent variety for lunch/dinner
England -- fish & chips, tasty but greasy
Norway -- nice selection of sandwiches, plus soup/sandw. combos
Morocco -- really good platters

Happy planning! :goodvibes

Last June DH & I had dinner at Marrakesh in Morocco. Not very popular (therefore easy to get reservations) and I cannot understand why. I had the shish kabob

along with a Casablanca Sunset - Made with apricot brandy, orange juice, cranberry juice, topped with peach schnapps. - Yummo!

DH had lamb shanks.

His only complaint was that they were out of Moroccan beer. Both meals were delicious, not to mention the ambiance, the wonderful music and tasteful & beautiful belly dancer.

We then ventured outside to listen to the band there, Mo Rockin'

(whose CD we purchased--my brother bought me their other in January!) and were treated to more great music and the same beautiful dancer. I would definitely go back there and not hesitate to recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Fast Food - Electric Umbrella (Future World)
Dining - Bistro de Paris (World Showcase, France, upstairs)

Teppan Edo
Coral Reef
Tutto
Biergarten

*We have found all of the above to have excellent food and service!*

For CS our favorite place is Sunshine Seasons. DH & I also love Tangierine (sp?) Cafe in Morroco.

I also love Tokyo Dining and Marrakesh. For a quick treat, stop at Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe in Norway . . . yummy pastries!!
