Where do I start? Planning 1st Sept Trip

We're planning our first Disneyland trip this September and I don't know where to start! We live almost in Mickey's backyard here in Florida so I don't really have to plan to go to Disney... We've decided to take a short trip this September to California/Disneyland and I need help - we want to make this as budget friendly as possible...

September after Labor Day is generally considered off-season. Make sure you have a handle on that:

FYI after Labor Day HM is usually down for a few weeks to add its holiday overlay. So you may miss that. Otherwise I am sure you will have a lot of fun.
