Where do i 'pick up' Memory Maker?

I just ordered online, via MDE. HOw do I 'activate" my magic band?

I just did it in April - I think that I just went to MDE and linked it - once it was in MDE all I had to do is use my magic band at the parks. I never picked up a card - did it all with the magic band and never lost a picture.

I linked mine to MDE on-line. We are staying the Dolphin and don't have magic bands so I have a card. After you link it you'll get a message saying "Thank You! your MM will be active after you diwnload your 1st picture". I've never used the MM so I hope it works.

Ours did yes.
Just make sure they are list as "friends or family" on MDE.

I just ordered mine yesterday. I didn't want to pay extra for expedited shipping and the estimated regular date for delivery was the day before we leave, so I said I would pick it up at will call (have to get my APs at will call anyway).

We just got back from WDW two weeks ago and we bought MM right before our trip. Best decision we could have made. It was so easy to get pictures and it was nice to not have to bring a fancy camera everywhere we went. There is one set of pictures that didn't show up on MDE but other than that it was great. There were four members in our party and we all used our MBs to link the pictures to our account. We were all linked through Friends and Family, so that is a definite must if using MBs.

Ok, so I'm a little confused. I bought Memory Maker online, and i was emailed a recipes that it says I have to bring to Will call, but wouldn't it be linked to my MagicBand already?

I was confused too when I purchased the MM a few days before our recent trip (7/2 - 7/10).

I made the purchase 4 days before leaving and rec'd the 'will call' receipt. However, I noticed that memory maker was already linked in my MDE account even before our trip.

On our first day we went to MK and the photo pass person took our pictures and scanned our magic band. Later that night I checked my MDE account and my pictures were there.

I didn't have to use the 'will call' receipt. MM was automatically linked to my MDE account, and I was able to download the pictures immediately.

I was worried/confused about our memory maker too -- we just returned from Disney last week and everything worked just fine. I had booked the AP room deal that offered a free memory maker. I did nothing -- didn't "link" it to my account because it was already listed there as part of my deal. I asked at check-in if I had to do anything and concierge said as long as the memory maker was listed on my MDE account, I didn't need to do anything and it would automatically be on my magic band. I even asked after going on Buzz Lightyear if I needed to scan my band to get our pictures and was told as long as the MM is listed on my MDE account, I was all set. Sure enough, I checked from my Ipad later that night and all my pictures were there. It's such a fascinating system! And very easy because they've eliminated all these "cards" from room cards to AP cards to photo cards to FP tickets, etc.
