We lived in a rented town house one mile from the ocean for 10 years. I bought a home about 15 minutes away (and inland) 2 years ago. As an added bonus I am now only 8 minutes away from the airport.

For about 5 years I rented my parents house while they lived elsewhere. When they decided to move back I bought the house I currently live in.

7 hours Northwest, from Orlando area to the Florida Panhandle near Destin. Also, DW and I were one of only a couple of our hometown friends or family to actually move out of our home state of Michigan.
