funny story. my brother got this free DVD about going to disney, places to stay, to eat, stuff like that. In 1 part they mentioned VMK and looked prettyyyy awesome. I tried it but for some reason i was impatient at the time and it came to a black screen at the end of loading. Or it just didnt work when i clicked Click to play. Then my friend came over and she's like! OMG you play that? And i was like, oh yeah im trying. And she said oh yeah just wait. Funny story is, she learned that at her friends since she has no internet at her home. So here i am. If it wasn't for her i would never be here, or on the DIS boards because i told my OTHER friend Yogawe about it and she found this forum, the DISboards.

Same! People were talking about 4th of July hats on VMK, and I searched for them on Google. "Goofy_Bob's 2K Hat Shop" was one of the results, so I joined the Dis!

I heard about VMK on a message board for a pageant. Some of the young girls there were talking about how they enjoyed it, and I thought my daughter would to. It was several months or so later before I actually tried it out. And, of course, I signed up for an account for me just to make sure it was okay for her. And, well, she does still play it some, but not as much as mom.
