Where did the basic magic band go?

Hi all, I recently booked a trip and went to purchase magic bands through MDE, and there are limited options and I cannot seem to find the basic solid colors ones? I don’t have any from previous trips and the key to the word cards are such a pain when dealing with our kids and pulling them out for every ride. Any idea on where the cheaper solid color magic bands went or where to get them? Thanks so much!

Wait till you get there. Still a wide MB variety, both solid color and designs, in resort and park shops.

I think the difference is that if you are staying at a Disney-owned hotel and you purchase Magic Bands in advance through MDE, you get a discount.

There are 3 solid colors today. Not the original colors, but they are plain. They’re $10 each. (Stitch obviously had to sneak in the picture!)

Stock is very feast or famine for resort guest preorders. Best thing to do is keep checking, and buy as soon as you see ones everyone will be happy with.
