OP's question made me wonder if he really meant ''disney dollars'' or ''disney gift card''
It's the $100 amount and op's join date in september 2014 that had me think that it could be a gift card we're ralking about (the booking offer was $100 GC at that time)
So to clear any misunderstanding, disney dollars are currency. They are bills, paper money
Gift cards are credit card like
If it's disney dollars (any denomination of $1, $2, $5, $10, $20, $50 or $100) then it's as Elise said
If it's a gift card obtained with a disney booking, then it's accepted anywhere on property
All I know is, we booked around July 2014 for October 2015 through a 3rd party travel agent. Staying at CBR (2 rooms) on Quick Service Dining Plan and 100 Disney Dollars per room.
It will be a gift card however there are still some places that may not accept as it is a Disney gift card and they need to be set up to take it. You can use it at all the Disney owned stores but I'm not sure that all of the operating participants accept them - that is up to the store.
Thanks again Guys. I've looked up the equivalent booking for next year and it does appear to be the Gift Card. Guess the safest play is to check before attempting to buy ! Though, as long as the Resort Bar accepts it, most in our party will be happy (Purely as a nightcap after a hard day at the parks)
