Where CAN You Wear A Hat?

For Mickey's sake, is this argument still going on??

You can wear a hat everywhere at WDW (except perhaps at certain dining establishments like V&A's). If it's a big enough hat to block someone's view, remove it during shows and parades.

Now the REAL question is..what about doo-rags? I wear those occassionally. Hats give me a headache (unfortunately).

While we're on the hat subject, my sister got married in England, and DW was required to wear a hat in the church. What's the deal with that? It was a wedding for pete's sake, not the Kentucky Derby!

I think, keeping one's head covered in church is a sign of respect/piety or something like that. This was the case in pre vatican II catholic churches, women were required to have something on their heads. My mom tells stories of using a tissue when nothing else was available. Sounds like it is still the case in the anglican church, but I've never seen it happen in an episcopal (US) church. Might depend on the parish/congregation as well.

Not sure if it applies to just men or women as well, but this is also the case in orthodox and conservative jewish services, I'm also not sure about reform.
