Where can I learn which Character Meals are available and how to book?

I know that you cannot book them until a certain number of days before your trip but do you have to stay in the park for these as well? And where can I get a list of what will be available?

Go to allearsnet.com, there are menus there, and a section on character meals. Anyone can book a character meal, you don't have to be staying at a Disney resort. There is also a phone number to call. You can do this 180 days in advance in most cases.
