Where can I get the sparkly hair glitter like they use at BBBoutique?

I tried to book my dd for the BBBoutique the night of MNSSHP, but it was an afterthought and the reservation available is too early (pre-nap time.) Anyway when I thought about it, I really don't like the whole make-up thing anyway, and what I love is the adorable glittery hair the girls all have. Sooo...

Any ideas what I can use that will be just as nice?

I've never seen the Pixie Dust available in any stores, but you can buy the hair extension ponytails at the Disney Store in DTD. Since you are going for Halloween, I stocked up at Wal-Mart last year on glitter hair spray. It comes in several colors for Halloween. I bought the Gold and Silver. This could be used throughout the year.

Go to the barbershop on Main Street, across the street from City Hall. Ask them for Pixie Dust, they will spray her hair and add the pixie dust.

You can get glitter hairspray at Claire's and Libby Lu (in the mall, if you have one) has the loose "pixie dust"--they always dust DD when she comes in and tell her to make a wish!

I have been told to go the barbershop at MK, ask for an updo with gel and pixie dust and that it only costs $5. That is what we are going to do/

If you are looking to get it before you go to WDW, you can run into a Partycity / Bath & Body Shop or a store that sells makeup/hair accessories and they usually have something that you can use...

if you are looking to get it done in WDW, go to the barber shop and let them throw a few sprinkles of magic on her...

A couple of questions:

1. Can you make a ressie at the Barbershop? I'm thinking "NO," but I wonder how hard it's going to be to just walk in before MNSSSHP.

Edited to add: found the info on another thread. Walk in only! (has anyone walked in the day of MNSSHP?)

2. Of the glittery products you guys mentioned, which one is the closest to being as nice as the Disney ones?

I love the spray from Bath and Body Works-- It lasts all day and smells good too. The glitter in the spray gets EVERYWHERE, but washes out easily, but if you feel guilty about leaving a mess for mousekeeping just spray it outside, my girls love it!!

P.S. This is not a "hairspray" just a finishing touch, you will have to use a lot, just like BBB, but I think it looks close.
