Where are you vacationing this year "non disney"

Just curious as to how many people have vacations planned non disney?
trying to get some ideas!

We are going to the black hills in SD.

Does Universal count? LOL, we are spending the first few days of our trip there.

Next summer, we are going to Disneyland, Universal Hollywood and the Grand Canyon.

We're going to FL to the beach in July.

We're going to Boston and VT in August.

We're going to AZ in January (visiting family).

We're going to Europe next August. But, we're taking the Magic back to the US. So, I guess that's still a Disney vacation - right?

My parents house in August, near NYC.

Italy or Hawaii in the fall (still undecided).

Back to Disney/ Universal in January.

This is our big blowout year before we start considering starting a family

Thinking of going to Asheville (Biltmore Estate) in late November

Cruise to Bermuda next October

And if I can swing it maybe a cruise to the Bahamas in April next year. If not I will probably go to Fl in April

We're considering a beach vacation this summer. We went to Va Beach last year. We'd love to go back to Disney but I don't like the heat and crowds.

We're going to Sesame Place in PA for a few days. Hoping to stop in Coloniel Williamsburg on the way back

We just got back to from Philly & NYC. We did Museum of Natural History, Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, Philly Zoo, Ellis Island and Statue of Liberty! It really gives you a huge shot of patriotism!

This summer we are doing Niagara Falls and then Toronto to see the Red Sox play!

I love Philly! We had fun doing NY going to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island as well!

I definately want to try Niagara Falls sometime! Are you staying on the Canadian or US side? What hotel?

That is an idea for me....maybe instead of a cruise in April I should go to Niagara Falls in May......hmmmm....it is so exhausting trying to decide where to vacation

Gulf Shores, Al! We decided on a relaxing beach vacation this year. Disney can be too stressful - though we still love it!

We're doing a weekend in Washington D.C. in May. We are renting a house for a week in August in Ocean City, NJ (Dh's sister and her family and several of dh's cousins will be there). We'll do a few camping trips too.

We are driving from Minnesota to New Mexico, so we'll see the sights along the way (South Dakota, Colorado - DH really wants to go to the Fat Tire brewery.

If anyone has suggestions, I'd love to hear them!

We are going on a cruise.

We are doing two weeks of back to back vacation in August - wanted to separate but it's the only way DH's and my times matched up.

Anyway we are spending week one at a cottage in Eastham, MA just outside the Cape Cod National Seashore - so a lot of time will be spent at Nauset, Marconi and Race Point Beaches.

Then we're going to visit DH's GMA and SM and Sis in IN. We'll be going from MA to IN via Cooperstown (Baseball Hall of Fame) and Clevelend (Rock & Roll Hall of Fame). We're going to stay at Hueston Woods State Park (OH) in the lodge so the kids can do things like horseback riding and swimming and.... We'll be going back via Pennsylvania and will stop to see some sights there (the Inclines in Pittsburgh and Gettysburg).

We just went to Gettysburg, PA during spring break.

We are going to Williamsburg, VA next month.

We are going to Savannah, GA on our way down to WDW in July and visiting family in Columbia, SC on our way home from WDW.

Then it's off to Plymouth, Mass for Labor Day weekend.

Not sure if we will be spending Thanksgiving with family in Myrtle Beach, SC.

We are headed to Missouri in June for a week long camping excursion.

The kids and I are traveling cross country to CA in July (by car) but we plan to do 2 days at Disneyland during that trip.

Labor Day weekend we have a cabin booked in Gatlinburg, TN

and we are headed to Hawaii in November.... (but Im not supposed to know that, I overheard a phone conversation)
