Where are you vacationing this year "non disney"

Hope to do Bermuda cruise, and maybe hit northeast US, and/or a little of Canada near there. We also expect to go to Gettysburg, but DH is planning that so it may never happen. It is our 20th anniversary and we are trying to make sure each of us gets a choice. Canada/Gettysburg are his choices, cruise to Bermuda is mine...

I love Philly! We had fun doing NY going to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island as well!

I definately want to try Niagara Falls sometime! Are you staying on the Canadian or US side? What hotel?

That is an idea for me....maybe instead of a cruise in April I should go to Niagara Falls in May......hmmmm....it is so exhausting trying to decide where to vacation:rotfl2:

We are staying on the Canadian side. Right now we are staying at the Embassy Suites at the Falls, but if Great Wolfe Lodge has a good code I may jump on it!

Family and I are headed to Glacier National Park it's the 100th anniversary.

Wildwood NJ in July for a dance competition (week long) and then to Disney in August:woohoo: should be a busy summer!

Season passes to Holiday World- the "local" (2 hrs away) water park. So several visits there.

We are driving from MD to MI and then to TX (to meet my new nephew). All of our trips involve family this year. My sil is even joining us for our WDW trip in June.

I think we may try something new next summer. It's our 15th anniversary. Way back on our honeymoon in Aruba, we said we'd come back on our 15th. I'm not sure we can swing it for the whole family next year (I'm losing all of my daycare kids for my business next year), but maybe we'll do Niagra Falls or something different. Although the thought of a special anniversary in Disney sounds appealing too:goodvibes. Decisions, decisions.....

I LOVE Holiday World. Left to our own devices, it's the only park DH and I would visit besides Disney...we went to Carowinds under duress last year and may end up at Dollywood sometime, but Holiday World is just great!

No specific trips planned this year yet so I'll be keeping my eyes on this thread!

Philadelphia, Washington D.C., and Williamsburg. I am so excited!

(It is an Adventures by Disney trip, but not actually going to Disney. :thumbsup2)

We are gong to my nieces wedding in central MA in July. We will be driving so on the way up we are going to stop at Six Flags America in MD. We will be staying in MA for 5-6 days. On our way back we are going to stop at Six Flags Great Adventure/Wild Safari in NJ. Then we head to Myrtle Beach for 5 days.

We have season passes to Six Flags so I will probably be taking the kids several times over the summer. The school board changed our calendar so this kids are going back on August 2nd, so their summer break is going to be shorter.

We are heading to North Conway NH. There is a theme park there called 'Storyland.' It is supposed to be great for little one's. The price is great too, 27 dollars per day!
We will likely explore around Portland and Bangor too.

I love Storyland! (OK, I haven't been there in 20-something years. It is, however, the place where I sucked the plastic cow that's in my tag.) Ahh...meMOOries....

I'm doing Boston & Salem in October

Thinking of going to Asheville (Biltmore Estate) in late November

Cruise to Bermuda next October

And if I can swing it maybe a cruise to the Bahamas in April next year. If not I will probably go to Fl in April

You guys have some awesome trips planned:thumbsup2

Salem should be a lot of fun in Oct.

Not doing much this summer seeing we spent 3 weeks in Greece last summer. Athens and 4 islands=Amazing vacation.
Either Cape Cod or Washington D.C. in July.

Went to Grand Canyon 2 weeks ago. Hopefully a road trip across country to Williamsburg and Washington D.C. this summer. Then maybe Disney cruise next year when the Wonder comes to SoCal.

I going to Vegas this year for 1st time. I have no plans on going to disney this year, but I still love the place just need a break.

We are going to Myrtle Beach and then Hilton Head (whoops, does that count as non-disney)?

You will have fun in Vegas! That was my very first trip! I was there most of the time solo, and then met up with my friends for a couple of days for their wedding.

Last year was our first time at disney and I wanted to go back, but feel like there are so many places to see so thought I would travel around a bit before heading back to disney.
