Where are the Mickey bars?

When was the last time any one got a Mickey ice cream at the BW store? The store had none when we were here in October and there are none here again now. Am I just unlucky or do I need to petition the mucky-mucks to reconsider a decision that is ruining my DVC?

Due to budget cutbacks, Disney Parks & Resorts decided to reduce the expense of this item by removing one of mickey's ears.

Unfortunately, focus groups repeatedly reported that the modified Mickey Bars were no longer a good value with the modifications.

Additional enhancements are under consideration to permit the reintroduction of Mickey bars to exceed guest expepeditations......

I would like to know what happened to the Goofy pops.... I had them a few years ago in Animal Kingdom and never saw them again... They were chocolate....

A CM at DD told me that Mickey bars will soon only me available in the parks. But BC still had them last night. I certainly hope that I don't need to do a BCV add-on just for Mickey bars.

That's a disappointment! We love our evening walk to HH at OKW to get a Mickey bar!

I am hoping that the CM at DD was wrong. Still no Mickeys at BWV today. I will be checking first thing when I return on Dec. 28.

I'm pretty sure they had them at Mara yesterday. I was torn between buying one to eat then and there or bringing a Krispy Rice Mickey head home for Tom. I brought home the treat for DH....he added on when I was away!

I always bring home chocolate frosted crispy treats from the candy store at DHS for my DH.

I'm pretty sure they had them at Mara yesterday. I was torn between buying one to eat then and there or bringing a Krispy Rice Mickey head home for Tom. I brought home the treat for DH....he added on when I was away!

Jean, yes, it's the chocolate frosted crispy treat that I bought. What I was really trying to find, but without going to the BC Marketplace, was the gingerbread stars that they sold there. I did get some gingerbread at the American Pavillion in Epcot. While that's good, the BC gingerbread really is special..I hope they still have some when we go later this month. 25 VWL, which we did get, but I was mistaken about the BCV, we don't have them yet, or at least, we didn't get them as of this morning.

Simba's Mom, I'll be sending some your way. I think the thoughts of being at WDW with his DGC win over money concerns. Maybe the same will happen for you, DGM to be!!

I was able to buy a Mickey bar at Artist's Palette at SSR in November.
