Nobody ever knows where Michigan is ... just look at our sports teams ... the Lions are in the NFC North, the Tigers are in the AL Central, the Pistons are in the Eastern Conference, and the Wings are in the Western Conference (or the Clarence Campbell conference, if you're a traditionalist)

I am literally smack dab in the middle of the country. The geographical center of the lower 48 is 50 miles north of me. Does that make me Southern? I am west of the Mississippi so am I Western? Where do I fit?
