Where are the best villas?

Hi,

We've been to Florida countless times and have just booked for Paril next year, just after the Easter hols so it shouldn't be too busy!

We have always stayed in a Disney hotel or in a villa in the Kissimmee area. We've decided to go for a villa this time as there will be 8-10 of us and we need 4 or 5 bedrooms.

Having looked at the villas we've been to before, they are starting to look white old and tired. The group has agreed that more of a "WOW" villa would be good. A lot of villas have come up in the Davemport area, but some friends who are Florida locals say this area isn't that great.

Basically, I'm looking for some advice of the best area/resorts to stay and also whether anyone has any links to villas for rent?

Personally I love davenport, close enough for easy access to parks but far enough out for some peace and quiet, been to davenport the last 4 trips and much prefer it too Kissimmee

We've stayed in Kissimmee, right off the 192 and most recently Davenport. I loved both areas.

If you want to know how close you will be to the parks, Google Maps is a good way to check out the distance and driving time to Disney - go to www.maps.google.com and click “get directions”, then enter start address = your chosen community, and end address = 28.343,-81.566 (This will take you to the Disney maingate).

The closest gated villa rental resort communities to Disney are in the Formosa Gardens area - Windsor Hills, Windsor Palms & Emerald Island.
