Where are Swan/Dolphin 2008 Discounts?

The 2007 Swan/Dolphin discounts thread was started by WebmasterBob in Nov '06. Wonder why there are no discounts for '08 yet? I looked at the rates on the S/D web site and they are AWFUL for our dates -- Aug 16-23. Lowest promotional I found was $296/night! Best AAA rate is listed as $369. What gives?

Do you have an annual pass? I got an annual pass rate of $194.50 for a standard view and was given a upgrade to a lake view. I am going June 6 - June 13.

Did you try calling reservations at 888-828-8850? I gave up on the website (no availability for our dates) and finally called - within 5-6 minutes, I had ressies for part of our trip at the government rate of $199 (mid-October). The few days at the beginning of our trip are blocked out because of a huge convention at Swan/Dolphin, so we'll stay somewhere else onsite for those dates.

From reading the info at the link, I thought that discounts were not announced for September and October. Did you do anything special to get an October discount? I am looking for that month as well. Thanks.

Just told them that I was looking for a government discount and gave him my dates, that's all! Give them a call and find out for yourself if your dates are available.
