Where are my ADRS?-Disney site- UPDATE!! Post 570 pg 38

all of mine are still gone :scared1:

I did call Disney a week ago and they confirmed some of them.

They said that anyone on here that needs to cancel needs to call or their reservations will start cancelling on their own. :surfweb:
That CM must be nuts. How does calling prevent ADRs from canceling? This has to be CM crazy talk. Imagine 1000's of guests being forced to call to stop the cancelation of their ADRs - no way that is happening. Especially with such a tiny percentage of guests who would even be aware of this "requirement."

Mine are not back.
Does anyone know if this was an expected consequence of the 'upgrades' to the system or an unexpected oops.
I think most Disney IT changes and updates result in expected unexpected oops. Their systems leave much to be desired. Could you imagine such actions with a major bank, financial institution, airline?

what? you mean Disney isn't a bank?:confused3 no wonder every time I make a deposit I can never find it again:lmao:

I'm sorry but that statement makes no sense at all.... how can adrs start cancelling on their own? plus, everyone knows if you call disney and talk to 20 different cm's you will get 20 different answers:rolleyes1
::yes::
Quick, someone call back and get a better answer!

I just returned from WDW. You need to check all your ressies and get the confirmation numbers. Half of mine were not in the system (ones that were booked online back in July)!!! They had no explanation and said that it didn't happen to everyone.

Insist on getting the confirmation numbers for each and every reservation. I was assured each time I called that they were all there, but they didn't really look them up for me and compare my notes with their notes. I had the numbers for many of them but a few earlier ones I didn't have emails or numbers for. Fortunately, they helped me re-book all of them around the times I originally had. But I had a few moments of panic until that was fixed. :(

So are you saying the ones you had the confirmation numbers for were ok, but the ones you didn't have the numbers for they couldn't find in the system? (ie. they couldn't find them searching without a number?) We only have two missing and don't want to have to call if we don't have to. We do have all of our confirmation emails and will print them and bring them with us.

No, even some of the ones I had confirmation numbers for went missing. If I booked it over the phone it was in the system. Otherwise, all but 2 others were totally wiped!

I don't want to cause a panic because I may have just been unlucky. They made it right and honored the ressies with confirmation numbers by rebooking within 15 minutes of my original times. I had excellent records except for a couple that I booked first. They were always showing on my online list until they did the upgrade.

Needless to say, I was in tears when I got there and found out that most of my ressies were gone after being reassured they were all there when I called a few days earlier. :sad1: A very nice CM at Liberty Tree Tavern fixed the problem for me. He didn't give me specifics just said it was an IT issue. I was just happy to have ressies close to my original plans.

OK we leave in a week now i am starting to panic

Don't panic, just give them a call. And tell them you want all the confirmation numbers you don't have. Make sure they have everything in the system that you have in your notes.

I really should have been more insistant that they check everything when I called before I left.

I just tried looking them online again and nothing. I tried to manual put he confirmation number and its not showing up. I have 22 ADR's I don't want to panic and I'm hoping they are all there...I'm fine if I lose a few but to lose all I will be :scared1:

Were any of the reservations you were missing when you arrived at WDW ones that you could see online after the system upgrades or were the ones missing from the system only ones that you weren't able to see online (does this make sense?) I just don't want to have to worry about all of my ADR's. If I can see it online should it be ok?

What surprised me the most was the only one I could see online (that I booked after the first upgrade in Oct.) was one of the reservations they couldn't find! It was there a couple nights before when I checked.

Have you conf. numbers when you go to the park and I'm certain you will be ok. After they fixed it that evening, we didn't have any further issues.

Yikes. That's disturbing. At least in your case, ADR's that showed online were missing, ADR's confirmed by a CM were missing ... it would appear that there is no way to know for certain if your ADR's are ok or not. I guess all we can do is make sure we have all of our confirmations with us & hope for the best. Thanks for the heads up!

All of the "new" ones I booked right before the crash are back. The "old" ones, which need to be canceled, are not showing up. Even by manually typing in the conf#, they're not showing up. I made the 1st set under my mom's name/number; the 2nd set under my name/number. I'm scared to call and cancel the 1st set in the event that they cancel all of them (names/numbers were different, but all made under my log in on Disney.com). Only 29 days to go.....

WORST case scenerio, I'll cancel each one day by day when I get to Disney....

This has been a really, really bad roll out!:headache:

I suggest you cancel you duplicates now. To keep duplicate adrs for no reason will limit others from getting adrs. I called and all of mine that were not online are in the system and I have my confirmation #s and it looks like you do also. Waiting until you get there is not a considerate move. You have your adrs, let someone else get them.

I'm scared to call too, since I made half of my ADR's in my maiden name and half under my married name (got married and changed my name right around my 180 day mark, so I used my maiden name, then I added some ADR's after and used my married name...ugh, stupid! :confused3). I used the same phone # and same email, but I'm afraid they will see half in one name and half in another and cancel them if I call. So I might just hope for the best and just go next week, assuming they are all there!

I don't have any duplicates or anything that I need to cancel, I just wanted to call and make sure everything is ok, but I'm nervous!

No, the ADR's made by CM's over the phone (Askersus, Hoopty Doo, 1900 Park Fare, etc.) were still there. It was a number of my ADR's that were made online that disappeared. But it wasn't all of them. It was very strange like the system dumped all ressies I made in July and any that I made right after the upgrade.

So just make sure you have confirmation numbers and times. And I'm pretty sure they will work with you if something is messed up. I was really upset though that I called and was reassured that they were all there.

I can't see all of my ressies online but I don't have all of my reservation numbers. If I call online, do you think they can find them w/o reservation numbers.

So, apparently the system is even 'losing' ADRs that you can currently see on line:scared1:
That you have a confirmation number is meaningless unless the restaurant has you on the list they got from the computer - showing up @ the podium with the number you got from the computer won't help.
Apparently the solution offered currently is for you to rebook. Hopefully very few ADRs were lost in cyber space. Likewise, hopefully, staff will be aware of the issue and be able to offer better solutions than 'let me try to find you a replacement ADR.' I, for one, don't want to be 'rebooking' ADRs on arrival day when I got up @ 3am (west coast) @ 180 + 10 days in order to secure specific restaurants @ specific parks/places on specific days. Just sayin.
