Sooooo cool. We are in West Monroe!

Neat to see somebody so close to us! We prob know each other and don't even realize it .

Now it would be really weird if we were going to Disney at the same time too. Nice that your friends are going with you.- we have been trying to get some of ours to go in Sept with us but they can't this year. Trying to get them hooked like us.

Had to chime in. We're from Leesville but DH works for KCS in Shreveport. (We actually live in the subburb of Pickering. Yeah, Red Devils!)

A few years ago I was making tags for my DS's shoes at Petsmart in Alexandria and met another Disser. Wish I could remember her name. But it really impressed upon me what a small world it is! One of our DSs is stationed at Barksdale AFB.

DH and I are cruising the 7 night Western in October followed by a 4 night stay at FT Wilderness Cabins.

We lived in St. Bernard parish since '72, moved to the Northshore in '93. Never flooded in all that time in St. Bernard. Got slammed in May, '95 in Slidell.
Go figure. When it's your time, it's your time. Thank God for flood insurance!
Hope things are getting back to normal for you. Well, as normal as it gets down here!!!

flood insurance thats a joke. they want your money on time but when its ready to collect good luck. yea back to normal for me back in metairie. i still have a lot in lakeview where the house used to be.

I'm sorry. I personally think insurance companies suck. Ooh, can I say that here? I don't want to get points or anything, but that's the cleanest I can keep it when thinking about ins companies. Oh, and did I mention I work for an insurance company? I still think it's a ripoff. Tony Soprano has nothing on insurance companies!!

The pic in my sig is him pitching the first game against Neville which we won. Unfortunately Zachary beat us in the championship game. It was a very tough loss to swallow as he's a senior and this was our third straight year going to state and losing..........The Hornets will get back on track tonight!!!!!

We'll be at Pop Century 5/29 to 6/7. First time staying at a value so we're a little worried but we have family from Jonesboro, La. going with us and that's where they wanted to stay.

Any reassurance from fellow Louisiana residents about Pop Century?

We're from Louisiana also and we have stayed at Pop Century and it was fine for us. We weren't in the room much at all, but I wasn't disappointed. Have fun!
