When you make a mix do you just slap random notes together and do it for the money? I don't, my music is always good.. Random note slapping is bad.. You hurt my ears!

Yes, but I keep my random noisy note slapping to a minimum......and then get the money! :rotfl:

I used to do random note slapping, but now I make it just as if I would get a grade in it at school. I had to do GarageBand-like the mixes in VMK, expect it has more notes-for a grade in music last trimester. It's just the same, but you don't get credits for it at school, unless you would count extra credits. ;)

Awesome, I hate how it sounds good on the mixer then comes out sloppy as can be though.

I have 3 songs that I have mad as songs that I composed to see how they sounded

then I have another song called Short Song on my main character- and "Just for Credits" on all my other characters

These short songs are just one beat long and allow me to get my credits in the music playing portion more quickly

As far as the mix goes- once I made my original songs I never mixed any new ones- I go in click on a song title click on remix allow it to load and then click save and then click return to lobby- same thing as mixing a new song

Alot of people just turn off the VMK music and listen to music.. However when I am in the music room I do not. . . It feels good to hear a rather good VMK mix every now and then.. Speaking of which why is there music in the music room? :confused3

I always hear "Hurry Up! I'm Doing A Quest Hurry Up Or I'll Report!" or something else rude about the person playing to hurry up. :sad2:

Yeah well if they were smart enough they would know you can't report for that.

Yeah, but they can lie and say you did something against values. People will do that. Or you could go in great detail and say how a certain word is mean, and rude.

Well you would think they would be able to check chat logs, trade logs ETC. and make sure that the person did/didn't do it.

The smart thing to do in a situation like this is use the ' Advanced Mode ' Button. Choose an empty room and then use a short mix :thumbsup2

Very good suggestion! :teeth:

In my family we had a contest to see who could make the worst song possible that wasn't just noise or I guess that would be note slapping! :rotfl2: My daughter won with a really painful tune. :rotfl2:

Most of the time I just play my one note wonders though.

I have a couple of songs where I have tried to make something other than noise... but I fear they are noise so I still with the empty room one note song for the most part...

I enjoyed creating my mixes, so all of mine are not random noise songs, and I wish that we could hold more than four different songs.

Usually I'll go to an empty room to play mine. A busy music mix room makes my ears bleed.

I made a few I don't think are bad then they came out with the quests and it became necessary to go with a one note song. Now since I am in a hurry and accidentally deleted my good song i stay with one note as well. I don't care if the room is full as long as the line is short.

My very first song that I made (yes, when I was a newbie) I spent a lot of time on my song. Played it, revised it, and on and on. I wanted it to sound great!

Since then - I have created a few more songs for various reasons. I has some vary specific things in it as it was made for a friend as a joke. The other is very very short for those times when I just want to get in the music room and get out!

they ALL have cool titles though - something fun for those who watch the scroll. popcorn::

I agree, but what they really need are room mixers and CD players..! (And maybe an increase or two in slots for songs.)

When I first started playing I used to mix the perfect song, now it has been reduced to ONE note - just want the credits these days!!! :rotfl:
