I don't plan an hour by hour itinerary though. I have a list of must-dos for each park and usually make that my first stop and I always plan dining but otherwise, don't want a rigid schedule.

DD6 is very unpredictable, her mood changes on a dime and she's very stubborn (you can't bribe this kid with anything) I've accounted for meltdown time in our day and also ordered her a stroller because I didn't just drop $10K (once you covert it to CDN$) to listen to "myyyy leggggggs huuuuuurt!" for 12 days

I am a type A planner for sure. Have my spreadsheet down to even include tax and tips! I would always tell DH my plans and all the changes.

His eyes would glaze over and he'd say ok.

Finally asked if he cared. With eyes glazed over he'd sai '- no. You always change anyway. Just tell me where to go.

I can do one better than that - the spreadsheet also includes exchange rates and automatically converts it for me. I was so chuffed with myself when i did that.

I am a bit of a chaotic /messy planner - things like this yep absolutely spreadsheets, plans etc. But I have to be interested in it or i just wont... My desk is absolutely covered at the moment in expense receipts that i've crumpled in a pile and i'm literally throwing them around trying to find one receipt for work.

But things like holidays, cruises, our wedding, christmas shopping, budgeting, action plans for work etc that is planned to the last detail and binders are neat and tidy.

My fiance well - i asked him to watch videos with me, and sort out restaurants etc. I gave up. He won't complain he actually likes being told where to go and what to do because otherwise he would get a bit overwhelmed with it all and probably just stay in the hotel lol. However; directions are his strong suit- he will be studying the maps and working out where to go - i have got lost in my home village before..

We all have our strengths and its important to remember it so we dont pull our hair out!

Order her some battery powered rope lights for the stroller. Best $10 ever. She will love controlling the lights (bribe?), and you can find your stroller at night.
