When you go to work tomorrow

About five years in this building. Worked for same company a lot longer but I changed facilities a few years ago with a job change within the company.

I work in 3 buildings now. 2 out of 3 have been for 6 years. The other assignments have rotated.

Same company this building a little over 5 years 13 years at our old location which is maybe 1/2 mile away

2 years, 3 1/2 months. We moved buildings - now we are about 2 miles further for me, 2 miles closer for just about everyone else I work with. The new division president at the time decided our old building wasn't fancy enough and so we went from our own cozy, nice, standalone, awesome 3 story building to the 10th floor of a modern, gorgeous office building with a parking garage that adds at least 7-8 minutes to your 'getting to and from your car" time every day and I was stuck in one of the 6 elevators once four about 10 minutes with 7 of my closest building-mates that I have never met before and probably never will again.

Oh, and the president decided to quit the company because his job required too much world-wide travel and he was never home to see his wife and kid, so he technically never even made it to the new building, not that he would have been here for more than a day or two at a time every month anyway! >:(

I was at my other building for 4 1/2 years before we moved. I pass it on the way in every day and I still wish we were there instead of here.

13 months at this job...and, as of now, planning on retiring here. BUT I'm 35 yo so who knows what the future holds?! My last job I was at was for 7 years.

At this same hospital campus, 28 years. But my actual desk, only about 2 years. Was in another couple of suites previously. From home it's almost an hour door to door each way using commuter rail.

1 month. I just started working part time after taking a break for 18 years to raise DD. It takes just under 20 minutes to get there from home.

For the past two and a half years, I've walked approximately 20 feet, from my bedroom to my office, for work. I work from home.

a little over 26 years. It takes 20 minutes to get to work on a bad day....it's usually more like 12 minutes :)

In this building about 3 years. I've worked at the job for 16 years, but my company has been acquired 5 times. We're about to move again in 2 weeks but we'll be moving closer to my house. Yay!

9 days. And hopefully 10 years from now I will be saying 10 years and 9 days. I love my new job. And it seems my coworkers love working there, too. No one has been there for less than 10 years - except me. And I replaced someone who had been there for over 10 years. But she left to move out of state to get married.

14 and a half years but the last 6 or so I have been running back and forth in between our two locations which are only around 2 miles apart.
