Spinning
That's me living out of bags! My double duty space is right now in the middle of a log cabin quilt. since I've only got 1/8th of my squares done it will be that way for a while. I am slowly paring down through things will all the advice that I've been given here. I buy a lot of stack paper do you pull them apart to single sheets or leave them in the pack and put that in the bin. Pictures are sorted through (thanks to my lovely cold I was up at 4 am) so I'm considering the paper storage/ sorting next. All the single sheets that I've one as door prizes I have sorted by type now I'm trying to decide If I should invest in a couple more paper takers and pull the stacks apart. Stickers will be the next thing and I have a few extra 3 ring binders kicking around that I'll buy some inserts for. My goal is the rolling crop in style bag and messenger bag for the actual scrapbook stuff and the smaller rolling case for the stamping stuff. I'll get there yet.
Thanks for the advice.
Paper:
Well I know I have way too much paper! LOL
All the colors are sorted as follows, in Cropper Hoppers, 8 1/2 x 11 solid, 8 1/2 x 11 patterned, 12x12 pattern, 12x12 solid, scraps. Colors I have now, purple, pink, red, blue, green, yellow, black, brown, white, orange, green, grey, Disney, Holidays, seasons, vellum, misc, and 1 hopper dedicated to Daisy D's and Basic Grey papers, those I keep grouped by paper line.
I take all my stacks apart, but that's just me.
I use the Creative Memories 12 inch deco file folders for scraps. They have 2 pockets so large scraps go in the larger pocket and small ones go in the 1/2 pocket. The great thing is that they fit right inside the cropper hopper.
the paper is on the bottom.
All my embellishemnents are in binders with page protectors. I use the 8 1/2 x 11, the 4x6 pockets, and the baseball card pare protectors (PP's). Divided by:
Disney by park
3 binders for characters
holiday
season
kids
rub-ons
alphabets
etc.....
the PP's droop a bit but it works for now since I have such a small space.
