When you are in a public restroom

do you lock the door to the stall? I ALWAYS do and didn't realize that people don't until I walked in on 2 people (in seperate stalls ) today. I never knock and the stall walls went down to the floor so I couldn't see under for feet. I was shocked! they didn't seem to mind so much, however. ( and I saw NOTHING!)

I always lock it! If the lock doesn't work, I'll wait for another stall to open up.

I usually lock the door, unless it doesn't lock - I'm not real uptight about it, but what I hate are the ones with no doors no gettin' around that one!

I lock it. There was one time that the door wouldn't lock, and I had to try and hold it closed while doing my business. I could be a Cirque de Soleil performer after that trick.

I always lock the stall door, and I would die of embarasment if someone walked in on me, or I walked in on someone. Call me old fashion. My DD(12) was just in France and she said the bathrooms there were coed

If there is a working lock, I use it. However, I won't hesitate to use a stall without a working lock or stalls that are designed without doors. I don't see any point in holding it and being uncomfortable.

I always lock it, and if it won't lock I'll go to a different one. Recently, though, I turned the lock to the locked position and I assumed it was locked. It was a very, very small stall and the toes of my shoes actually stuck out from underneath the door, yet STILL this woman tried to walk in on me!! I couldn't believe she didn't SEE my feet poking out!! And I always knock on a door if it's obviously closed but I can't see feet underneath. I DON'T like being "walked in" on, and I wouldn't want to walk in on someone else either.

Yep, I lock. If the lock doesnt work and the door wont stay shut, I do the ole " stick a wad of toilet paper in the crack between the door and stall wall so it stays closed" trick.

I always lock it, unless it is broken. I always look for feet too if the doors are closed. Of course if the door goes all the way to the floor that doesn't do any good!
