When you add extra adults after deposit already made, how is that billed?

We made our ressie today at the Boardwalk Inn and just booked for 2, but there is a good chance we will add 2 more adults. Since my one night's deposit is already charged, is the extra $50 per night charged to my credit card for the first night like the room charge was or do we just pay at checkin? It's all family, so we will just share a room if they can come.

when we did that, we were asked to pay the additional deposit which we did via CC and then the rest at check-in.
