When ya order a beer

Lately, Stella. Also, Leininkugel Summer Shandy, Kona Long Board, Agave Wheat, Shipyard Summer Ale and a few others. The Corona in the beer fridge probably needs to be tossed at this point. DH likes the IPAs

I am not a drinker, so answering for DH. Sam Adams or Fat Tire.
Up until about 2 years ago he drank nothing but Natty Lite. Then he had a Fat Tire, and there is no going back to the cheap stuff. lol

My absolute favourite is Purple Haze but we can't get it here:sad:

I just have to make sure I drink enough when I'm in Florida to keep me going!:thumbsup2

I drink whatever comes out of our tap! DH makes his own.

When we go out I like IPAs or Belgian style beers.

Depends on what i'm eating but Florida just started having Magic Hat #9 on tap so that has been a nice addition to my beer drinking line up. My favorite beer is Dixie Blackened Voodoo, but i can only get that special order these days…boo

Lately if Im at work it's been Southern Teir Double IPA,Foothills Peoples Porter, Lonerider Sweet Josie Brown, or Blue Point Toasted Lager if I want something easy and simple. Mostly the Southern Teir 2X IPA. If I'm not at work then I'll normally try something new. I will drink pretty much any beer besides "fizzy yellow water". So no Bud Light, Corona, Coors, Mic, PBR, and yes I consider Blue Moon and Shocktop those types of beers. I know way more about beer then most men (yes that sounds sexist but it happens and it is true) I will admit I am a beer snob and proud of it! :drinking1.

:lmao: Yeah, I love when people say their drinking something "exotic" like Blue Moon. :rolleyes2 It's produced by Coors. It's a crappy substitute for a good Belgian Wit. Coors just wanted to jump on the bandwagon. Anheuser-Busch did the same thing with Shocktop. Mass market Witbiers.

Compare either of those to Ommegang's Witte and there's no contest.

I used to love Dixie Blackened Voodoo, but have not seen it up here in years.

I have to agree with Toad Passenger. Pretty much nailed it.

My absolute favorite is a properly poured Guinness, beyond heavenly!

I do have a soft spot for Leinenkugels, however nothing with fruit in it or that horrible honeyweiss. I just never understood the need to add fruit to my beer. New Glarus makes some good brews too.

I could share what my dh and I say about lite beers, but I'd get kicked off the boards.:lmao:

I drink anything good. IPA's stouts, belgians, etc. No fuzzy yellow water for me either. Whenever possible, I try to drink something local.

I'm on a big German Beer kick right now. Heading to Munich for Oktoberfest in 62 days!!! :drinking1:drinking1

Self admitted beer snob here. As another PP mentioned life is too short to drink crappy beer. Bud, Coors, Miller and all of their subsidiaries are an abomination to what beer is meant to be. It's all watered down with corn & rice fillers instead of pure malts & hops. I'm not proud of myself (okay, maybe I am), but I have cast several disgusted glances at people sipping on a Bud Light, Pabst, or whatever.

I homebrew and patronize all of my local micro-breweries. We also have a great distributor who will help me seek out and sample some of the finer beers from around the world.

Honestly, I think if a lot of people actually got the opportunity to try some true ales & lagers from outside the heavily marketed brands, they would find out for themselves how awful the beers they've been drinking truly are.

Sorry for the rant, but, as a homebrewer, beer is a passion of mine.

ITA. Bud, Coors, Miller, etc. tastes like water to me. I like Southern Tier, Stone, Green Flash, Hess, Cigar City, Bear Republic, Russian River, Rogue, Ipswich Ale, Founders, etc. There are so many great beers out there now-why drink crap?

Check out http://beeradvocate.com/ for some good ratings.

Corona is my beer of choice. If we are having lobster and steamers in the summer I have to have a Sam's Summer with it! We have quite a few micro-brewery's around here and I usually get some sort of pale ale. I do like Blueberry pale ale. I think Shipyard makes one. It's pretty good. But I'm not a dark beer drinker at all.

If I'm having a beer it's a Black and Tan.

I really like Chimay and Delirium Tremens. Lately I've been loving La Fin Du Monde.

And this post reminded me of this picture which is totally me

I don't like crappy American beer. Should all be outlawed.

Guinness is best

:rotfl2: I put that on my friends facebook wall because he constantly makes fun of me for drinking BLLime. He calls it Sprite :lmao:

Don't drink beer, so I'm answering for by dbf. He loves Spotted Cow.

My dad likes pretty much anything other than Bud, Coors, or Miller (and subsequently all beers produced by them) and he will never EVER drink anything 'light'
