OK...I know you pro's who have BTDT have some great advice!
I want to plan another trip (hopefully) for next year!
Would you suggest going March (spring break...3rd week of March), May, summer, or fall (like Oct or Nov)
I am mainly concerned with crowds more than hot weather!
Thanks for you help!!

Of the times you listed, the most crowded times would be - spring break and summer (roughly the 2nd week in June to the middle of August).

May is very nice and my favorite time to visit. Memorial Day holiday brings some crowds, but they are not as bad as the summer crowds and it seems to be mainly over the long holiday weekend.

There is a lot going on in October and November; Mickey's Halloween Party and the Food & Wine Festival. I would not say it is crowded at that time, but I know the Festival is popular with both tourists and locals.

May, October and November would all be great times to visit to avoid the crowds. WDW is very popular at all times of the year; the crowds at this time are fairly moderate.

I posted a similar question a few weeks ago. I was looking into a trip next may. We have been in July, August, September/October, November and March. November was the best for crowds although we had really cold weather that should have been warmer. Free dining time aug-oct is really hot... too hot for me, as is July. Early March is nice if you can get there the first week before all the hoopla starts with Spring Breakers.

I have been in November over TG week - it is crowded.

I have gone in Aug (years and years ago) and don't remember it being that crowded (but we went middle of Aug).

I also have been in January (got there Jan 2) and it was NOT crowded at all...if I could always go then - I would but now with kids - I have to factor that in since they are in school.

Good Luck!

AVOID SPRING BREAK!!!

We did it this year due to not having any other choice of when to go. We had a blast, but the crowds were huge and we didn't have the ability to spend the time I would have liked to do some of the things I wanted to being my family's first trip (my 5th). There was SOOOOOOOO much more I wanted to show them but there was little room to manuever and the lines all had long waits. We made the best of it all and it was a very special trip, but if I had the chance to choose when to go, it would later in the year when it's cooler and less crowded.

Also, if you wait to go after school starts up again, you'll have a lot fewer people. I missed the first 3 days of school to go. It all depends on if you are comfortable taking kids out of school. If they are good kids I say take them out. If you are worried about it, you're going to be stuck taking them during the busy times.

I love October, November, and early December (although I know you didn't ask about December). I'd avoid summer and spring break time. If not fall, I'd do May.

My favorite time of all is Fall. We love October! The weather is great and the crowds aren't bad at all. The longest we wait in line is about 20 minutes!!

Here's another vote for October! Weather was great and crowds were moderate. With use of the fast passes and a good touring plan the longest line we waited in was about 15-20 min.

We are teachers and limited by the school schedule. My preferences considering that are 1) fall break--October 2) spring break--March 3) summer break--June 4) Christmas break.
