When worlds collide~the original flats meet in 4D!!

When we first moved into our house over here, the bathtub was in the kitchen because we only had one faucet in the whole house until we rebuilt it. So for about 6 months we did the dishes in the tub. It wasn't too bad, but did hurt my back from all the bending over.

Are the kiddo's staying with her while ya'll are in WDW?
yes, but with Evan being 16 we won't have to rely on MIL to "babysit".

Laundromats are interesting........not bad...bring a book or lots of magazines
I'll probably be working on my essay about plato...yipee.

Evening Cherie !! Glad you were able to UNDO MIL's help!!!!:eek:I am getting more and more excited !!! I am SOOOO ready for this vacation!!! It h been very trying at work the last few weeks !! We are all burnt out
me too! my online classes started this week but all I can think about is the trip.

now I feel bad for complaining. It's good to be reminded how blessed I am to have a home with running water and electricity.

I haven't seen any whiney pants baloney, by you. If I did, I'd ask for a baloney sandwich.;)
I have a hard time deciding what color to paint my nails so I can't imagine making the decision you have to.

That surprisingly actually sounds good right now!!! You know what I'm really missing right now though?? A giant fat Reuben. Loaded with kraut.

P.S. Go with red. Red is always good!

ohhh, I love a good Reuben!! I think I need to make a trip to the grocery store...yummy. that's the one sandwich I don't eat unless there's a potty near by.

actualy, red is the one color I never pick. I'm more of a pink girl.

Good Mornin All !!!
mornin Rosie!

Cherie, what kind of online classes are you taking?
I'm going to get my BA in History and Polysci....Right now I have american government, a college survival course, and Logic.
the logic is killing me! Obviously , I'm not a logical thinker because I get so confused reading the stuff.

How to commit the perfect murder !!!!:lmao:

:lmao::lmao:

and there goes my orange juice all over the keyboard.:laughing::laughing:

I forgot you were back in school. Any online work being done on vacation?

unfortunatly yes....I'll be giving out assignments when you get there. would you prefer the paper on Plato or the one on Logic?

Sorry, but the poop, chonie and gas ones have already been handed out.

Me, a little money and a laptop is a dangerous combination.

In an effort to ignore the money pit that is my house, i indulged in a little retail therapy. For some reason I feel the need to buy new clothes before every trip.

After looking at every item in the disney store I ended up with 10 things...5 for me and 5 for D.Jay.

Next I looked at Old Navy to buy a couple more tshirts that I picked up while in Utah.....well I got the 2 shirts along with 9 other things.
But...they were all on sale so really I saved money.

It's no wonder the intro to Logic class is kicking my butt.

Next I need some new shoes, which is problematic. My right foot still hasn't returned to normal and the left one is startting to hurt worse.
Plus, I'm really picky about shoes and what is appropriate to wear with tennis shoes. So I have a tug of war with myself over comfort vs. style.
Oh to be young again and wear 3 inch heels all the time without any pain.

And, if the situation wasn't bad enough, we live in a really small town which boasts a Wal Mart and payless shoes. It's a little over an hour to the nearest mall.

I also noticed today that i have a drawer full of travel size items....but I still must buy more....it's a disease I tell ya!

I think we could help you with LOGIC !!! Beingas we are all so logical!!:rotfl2:As for History mine is limited to British !!!! Most of that learned from novels :lmao: I would have helped with the "chonies " papers though!!!:rotfl2:
Right now I am having a strange convesation with a 2 year old !! I am not sure if he's swearing at me or not He is jabbering away and waving his hands ,he's about 2 feet tall and I haven't a clue what he is talking about !! I just said "What Sean " And actually understood ""Whadda ya fink!!!""":rolleyes1 He is obviously upset at my lack of understanding !!!:scared1:

I need to make the trip to Target maybe at the 2 week mark.

Comfort vs Style. I can tell I'm hitting middle age--comfort is starting to win over style. I don't care what I look like as long as it's comfortable.

You and Cherie are putting me to shame--shopping wise.

We can help with the homework....:thumbsup2

Hey Winkers! I'm late, but I'm here. I've read some of your old TRs and they are hilarious. Just wanted to say hi, now I gotta back up to page one and read....might take me a while to catch up....

Hey, that only took me an hour - not bad! Okay, so I skimmed the in between stuff. Pretty cool that you have switched to Pop and added a day - aren't Rosie and Jordan (part of the time) staying at Pop, too?

Okay, so these comments are a bit late, but anyway:

I love english history! the tudor's are fascinating, I've read a series of books about them. A little piece of useless info...I can trace one of my family lines to William the Conquerer....

Have you been watching the Showtime series? That's what got me interested in them and I started reading Phillipa Gregory. Worked my way through all of her Tudor books, and just finished Earthly Joys and Virgin Earth.

Love Phillipa Gregory!

I just read this last weekend, really liked it, if you haven't read it yet, check it out!

The Tudor Rose

Have you read The White Queen yet? I think its Phillipa Gregory's newest. Its about Elizabeth Woodville, the mother of the Queen Elizabeth written about in The Tudor Rose.

I love how a good author can weave accurate history and real people along with fictional characters. It helps to make history more relevent.......I could go on for hours about why it's so important to learn history, but I'll spare everyone.

Me too! I love history, but I usually fall asleep trying to read non-fiction, so I love historical fiction that incorporates actual events and real characters. You've probably already read these, but if not I think you'd love Pillars of the Earth, and World Without End by Ken Follett. Two of the best books I've ever read.

Oh, and I'm a huge Jane Austen fan too :thumbsup2 I think we share the same taste in books!

Oh wow, you go girl!!
Yeah, the logic thing would get me too.

Retail therapy is GOOD! :rotfl:
I hear ya on the shoes. I'd like to be stylish but comfort at WDW always wins.

Mnnn! Ruebens!!!!!!!!!!!! Though I prefer my kraut on the side, not on my sandwhich.

Logic. I think I'm a freak. It was, seriously, my favorite class in college. Go figure. My dream math credit!

ahhh retail therapy!

It occurred to me I might need something for the CA trip. Trying to banish that thought.

I have one word for shoes.

Zappos. Free shipping. Free returns. A bazillion choices.

I have major issues with tennis shoes. To me, they are for the gym. Or a hike. I just can't do it for the parks. Won't. This was my compromise for our trip last feb. Bear in mind I have had bunion surgery as well (of course I do still wear 4" heels but that's another story, it took my years to work back UP to them).

These are seriously, one of the best pair of shoes I've ever bought. The ultimate cute capri "practical" shoe. Nary a blister on the trip (a couple of hot spots but I switched shoes enough nothing came of it) and I have gotten SO much wear out of them since. I did not/do not wear socks with these but that's a personal preference. I would say I wore them 70-80% of of the trip and they were not terribly broken in.

They are definitlely going to Cali...not sure about the August trip as they will probably be too hot for me. My Keen flip flops will probably the star of that show. With a supporting performance by my Teva Mush flip flops.

No, they aren't cheap. They were worth it though! Nice and wide where I need them to be.

I think I saw that in the bookstore at xmas time and didn't allow myself to go there. Is it in paperback yet? I should reserve it from the Library, trying to be a bit more responsible with my book purchases...although Elizabeth Woodville wasn't terribly endearing in The Tudor Rose....did you like it?
