When worlds collide~the original flats meet in 4D!!

Rosie,

You're always welcome to free therapy sessions with us over on our "Strangers" PTR too. You'll find good and familiar company over there. ;)

We might make the news:rolleyes1

I can hear the news teaser now: "A first in Disney World history, the Magic Kingdom has been shut down. It seems that four visitors tried to add themselves to a parade with tragic effects. Therapy sessions are being set up for those kids that witnessed the event. The whole story at 10:00pm. Stay tuned...."

Love Phillipa Gregory!

that's cool having a connection to the author. What is your home town? And if it's not too nosey...when and why did you come to the USA?

I love how a good author can weave accurate history and real people along with fictional characters. It helps to make history more relevent.......I could go on for hours about why it's so important to learn history, but I'll spare everyone.

My personal favorite is James Herriot. That guys is possibly the funniest author that has ever written!!!

Home Town Bury St Edmunds , Nora Lofts moved there as a young girl and lived there untl she died !! My ex was stationed at Lakenheath near Bury in the airforce we married in England I came to the states when he got out of the airforce !!

As for James Herriot I loved the TV show also !! Winkers he wrote about being a vet in the north of England was hysterical!!!!

never heard of him....I'll have to check him out.

:scared1: Are you sure??!!!

The animal vet-

Rosie's right. Hysterical. BBC show was super!! Your
library prolly has it.

Yeah, theres this one time, ah, never mind. THere's lots of stories of drunk vets trying to do calvings, all kinds of funny stuff .

OOOH! I didn't even know James Herriott had a show!

I was a HUGE fan of his books.

When I read the Mitford books and the son is doing his animal training it would always remind me of the Herriott books.

Ok, I'm convinced. I'm heading over to Amazon to order me some funny!

You all have piqued my curiosity. My favorite author is Charles Dickens. Also a big fan of G.A. Henty.
