I am helping some friends plan a 2009 trip but when I went to the disney website it said that they are only booking through the end of 2008. I guess I just assumed that since the package prices were out that I could get a 2009 quote online and book it!

I am able to get to the screen where you choose a resort, but once I pick one, it says it is unable to process my request??:confused3 Hopefully this will get straightened out soon, as I want to upgrade my RO ressie to a package. Also I want to check out the dining prices, maybe even the new quick service plan.

Keep trying! I was just on at 7:30am and was able to get pricing for a fw cabin for Jan. 09.

Maybe all of the DISers on clogging the site! :yay:

Am trying to price out July 2009 and am getting this message....

Sorry, we are unable to update your ticket selection at this time. Please try again later or contact The Disney Reservation Center at (407) 939-7675. If you are under 18 years of age, you must have your parent or guardian's permission to dial this number.

It is driving me crazy....

I'm getting an error where when I put in my dates (January), I get an error saying they're booking through Dec 31, 2009. :confused3 :confused3 :confused3

I finally gave up and called. No wait time at all! I upgraded our 8 nt RO to an 8 nt package with DDP and 9day PH tix. With ins 4620 for FW cabins. Seems like more than I expected, but with tix price increase, $10/nt room increase and *I think* DDP increase, it is not surprising. She also said that if codes/discounts come out I can apply them to the package. Hoping for the free PH/WP like I hear was given out last May!

Good luck everyone!

gottaluvdisney: I was on line a little after 7:00am EST and just looked up Room Only rates for Jan. There was no problem at that time getting the rates to show.

I then called and applied a AAA discount rate to my existing ressie. I never feel real comfortable booking Disney on-line there always seems to be some glitch in their system! As so many people are now running into trying to just look at rates!

Happy rate shopping!
Peace.

I just got all of my package rates for July. It should be working now. You have to go through the tickets and reservation link at the top of the page.

I was just able to get a "rate" on the website by going to the "2009 Rates" under the resorts tab. It will tell you base amounts for the hotels and give you an option to book it now.

However this rate must be way off since they want to charge me about $550.00 a night for a standard view room at the WL in March. That's an increase of about $200 per night.

E.T.A.

Oops, I made a mistake. The quote above included tickets. So after I took them off and redid it it worked fine and I got a rate of $3488($380/$400 per night) for 3/7-3/15 in a standard view at WL.

It's higher then what I was hoping for but it's my 50th Birthday so I'm doing it anyway.

The site is showing $355 for a Garden View room at Poly, $265 for a Woods View at WL, and $97 for a preferred room at POP. These prices were for Value season.

Look at this DUCKIE jumping and dancing for joy! I have been waiting for what seems like forever (ok so it has been TEN LONG YEARS) to book this holiday and now I can. Just priced it out online and got this quote:
14 days
POR King bed
park hopping
Dining Plan

for a total of $4473.98

:donald:

Hey...I'll add what I just got... 6days/5nights Jan. 11-16 2009 with Base ticket (we don't really park hop) and Dining(1TS 1CS 1S) for a Standard room at the Wilderness Lodge for 2 adults... and it all came to ...(drum roll please...) $2231.46

I was expecting ALOT more! I think this is a good deal for a Deluxe...don't ya think?:confused3

We haven't booked it yet, but are hoping to soon!

1. We are hoping for the Free Dining Plan
2. All Star Sports, August 29-September 5, 2009, Standard Room
3. 5 Day Passes (non hoppers) with waterpark options
4. $1,812.00 For four people, 2 adults, 2 13 year olds.

So....hoping for Free Dining!!! If not, I see that they do a different type of dining, with quick services...two per day.
