When will The Unofficial Guide 2006 come out?

We're planning a trip for early December, and I was wondering whether the 2006 guide would be out by then, or whether to just get the 2005 guide. Anybody know when they come out with the new ones? Thanks!

THe 2006 UG was released on Friday (8/26). I pre-ordered mine directly from the publisher and it should arrive via UPS tomorrow.

Hmmmmmm. Len Testa says "mid September".

I pre-ordered a copy from Amazon way back in July--it showed August 15 as delivery date. It still does, LOL, but no book is in my mailbox. Barnes and Nobles website shows it being available on August 29th (well, last time I checked, which was last week). Sunkissed, are you tracking that package? Could it have something else in it, but not the UG? Perhaps it will be like my Amazon order, and while it says it will be delivered on August 15th, it surely was not, and shows as "not shipped yet".

Len, could your info be off? I'm sure the book is out of your hands at this point, so could you be out of the loop on this? LOL

I want my book! Let's hope Len is wrong!!!

Entirely possible my info's off, and I'd be happy if it was available earlier. Wiley (the publisher) hasn't even sent us our promo copies yet, so Sunkissed would be the first person I know of to see the finished product.

I actually ordered from Wiley Publishers (www.wiley.com). Sure enough, the book came today! I haven't had a chance for a real good look, but will probably start reading right now. BTW, love the photo on the cover - It's a great shot of Main Street USA at night. More later.

Just curious since last time I checked, the website only had up to April 30.
