If they're smart, they'd try to shoot for March 22nd, because that's spring break week for Orlando/Tampa. If not, then April would still be good, because that would kick off the coaster season before parks up north open in May.
I hope it opens up early in the spring. We havn't planned an exact return trip yet to take the kids, but I definately don't want to go until its open. Anyone heard anything on height limits yet?
Just got back from Disney and Universal.....while on-line for Jimmy Neutron (which by the way, they need to get rid of and just do away with that whole theater, its useless) ANYWAY
While on line I heard IOA employees talking about the Mummy, it is suppoesed to be an indoor rollercoaster, 3-d, pyrotechnics combo. Probably the most intense ride YET!
To each his own.....I guess. I loved Jimmy Neutron. I thought it was way better than Hanna Barbera, but my son also loves that show/movie so it may be why.
On another note, the Mummy is supposed to be a great attraction. I can't wait for it to open.
My kids loved the Jimmy ride - although we had never seen the old one. They really got a kick out of it. It is funny how people can have such different opinions.
We may go to Universal the first weekend in May 2004, so hopefully it will be open by then!
Wish I could join you in May. We had planned on going for my birthday (May 1), but I have a friend who is getting married on my birthday (the nerve!) so we're moving our trip up a few weeks. It would be nice to have a small meet though!
Spidey -
I am hoping to talk DH into going the first weekend in May to use our two free nights at HRH. DS's birthday is May so maybe we could have it as sort of a surprize birthday trip.
If we find some good airfare - we will definately do it!! A meet would be fun!
