When will the animials return to the savannahs?

with less than a month to go befor we depart I am getting concerned.

when do they expect that the roads will be finished and the animials returned?

Hey Mal,

I was under the impression that they would be moving the animals from one savannah at a time. When I called they couldn't give me a time line when the work was to be completed onthe savannah where we were to be staying.

The arusha savannah has already re-opened if that's the one you are talking about.

Didn't realize the other savannahs were going to be under rehab also... sorry!

I think the other 2 were done before Arusha, so you should be fine if that has reopened. We stayed on Uzima, out by the end, and it looked like the road was paved. Arusha was closed, but they moved most of the animals to the other savannahs.

they said that everything should be completed by the time we get there (which is just a few days before you). She did confirm that Arusha was completed so I am not going to worry about it too much.
