When will Target mark down their Halloween candy?

Any idea when the candy will be marked down? Need to stuff a pinata.

my experience is November 1st but my Target is almost out of Halloween anything now.....selection this year was really poor at our Target.

YMMV, here all non-food items are 50% off and all food items start out at 30% off at Target.

If you have a rite aid you may want to try there also. Ours drops the prices on their stuff much faster than Target does and the selection is better.

My guess is 50% on Monday and 75% on Friday or Sunday. Maybe 90% (if there's anything left) the following Monday. I think they're going to be trying to clear out the Halloween stuff quickily to make room for Christmas.

I was in Target yesterday. It looked like they didn't even sell a bag of candy yet. There were aisles and aisles of candy, costumes, decorations. It really surprised me.

Last year my Target went to 75% the Friday morning after Halloween.

I am at target like everyday!. Today they already had costumes marked 15% off clearance. I think it goes 30% off the next day and then 50% the next week. I think they might mark it lower earlier because they seem to be pushing Christmas in already.

Aldi's had their candy on sale for 50% off on Halloween! I got a bag of 50 M&M's for just $3.25 (reg. $6.49). They had name brand bags of snickers, twix, etc. also 50% off. Only the Aldi candy wasn't marked down.

Mine to. I was very surprised how much candy they had left. I have seen years that you couldn't buy it the day of Halloween and now they had rows and rows of it. And not just the cheap or junky stuff but name brand bars.

I was afraid they were going to start at 30% off this year after some stores did that last year (none of my local Target stores started at 30% off last year but I know others did). That likely means that when the regular Halloween merchandise goes to 75% off, candy will go to 50% off and then when the regular Halloween goes to 90% off, candy will go to 75% and be taken out of the system without going to 90% off. I guess the 90% off days of candy are over

Both Target stores in my area are at 30% for candy, 50% for most other Halloween/Fall stuff. They both had tons of candy left. I don't understand why they just don't go to 50%.


Cub, Walgreens and Wal-Mart were all at 50% today (I didn't go to all of them! My mom went out today looking for bargains today, too.)

I didn't buy candy at Target, but I did get napkins and tissues 1/2 off.

If anyone sees that Target goes to 50% off on candy, please post!

I went to Wal-mart for candy. !st store didnt have anything but candycorn. 2nd wal-mart I scored. Candy was 50% off. I bought 11 bags of candy for dd's party next month. Total came out to $16 . Well 1-2 bags will be for my desk -emergency stash-lol!

2 bags of starbust $1 each= $2
2 bags of skittles $1 each =$2
3 bags of milk duds in mini boxes $1.25=$3.75
1 bag of whoppers $1.25=$1.25
1 bag of reese;s mini cups =$1.25
1 large bag of mixed sweet tart candy =$2.37
1 lrg bag of mixed reg /almond snickers =$4.00

total $16.62

Went to our local Walmart yesterday morning and they said that they would not be marking down any candy that they normally sell. They had pallets of candy, but didn't mark anything down.

Went to one CVS- they didn't have anything left and had Christmas displays up already.

Went to 2nd CVS and they had the candy 50% off, but it didn't ring up that way, I had to ask about that.

Maybe I will try Target today after work.
