When will SWA post fare past April 1st?

Trying to book airfare for mid - April flights from BDL or LGA to MCO. However, SWA does not allow ~ only up till April 1, 2005.

Does anyone know when they will extend their search to go past April 1st?

A few days, weeks, a month?

Please advise.

They just extended their date late last week (I believe on Friday), so I'd expect it would be about another month, but you really never know.

I would check everyday, with the expectation that it'll probably be a month before they open reservations out to May. But there's always the chance it could be less time (or more).

I needed Spring break March dates and even though people were posting estimates that they'd be out in Nov. or Dec., I began looking just when the Feb. reservations opened up (in Sept.) and lo-and-behold, last Friday night (Oct.22) I did my routine checking and they were up.

It really is easy to bookmark the SW shortcut reservation page, and for the 15 seconds it took each day to check, well worth it!!!!

Thank you. I will check each day. On Sunday Morning flights from LGA to MCO were around $175. On Sunday night, same flights were $185. Now, I cannot find a flight less than $300.

I'm hoping SWA will have good fares, or at least good enough that the other carriers will go down.

Laura, I feel your pain. I was really sweating airfare prices, and flying out of CT didn't give me a lot of choices. Delta was $$$$ and lousy times to boot, and other airlines were no better. So I kinda' had all of my eggs in the SW basket. But I held firm and when SW opened up, they came through fine.


you'll be fine, just keep checking daily.

P.S. At least here, no other airline's prices have come down now that SW's reservations are open.

We too are looking for dates for the last week of april for spring break. I think once the dates come out everyone will be jumping on them. I am looking for an early direct flight out of islip. Good luck.

Last year the next group of dates opened up on 12/11. If they haven't opened up beofre then, definitely start paying attention and checking dialy around that date

Now I am seeing $457 for the Spring Break week. Yuck!
