When will Southwest Open?

I started this thread and added a few panic posts as I could not get into Southwest for a bit-- but when I finally did I was happy, booked and was off to work. Now home I can report the final result for me was for our family of four -2 of us are going on the 9:20 am SW flight on 12/21 and returning 1/2 on the 3:50 flight on Rapid Rewards which I am so happy that I got as I never seem to get good flights with RR and around Christmas -- fabulous!! Then two are booked on the same flights - going down for 172 each (now up to 189) and on the way back 189 (now up to 248). So while I am not overly happy with the rates for the 2 people I had to pay for, getting the rapid rewards for 2 and only having to pay these rates for 2 of us instead of 4 is awesome!!! Thanks for posting everyone!! After a fabulous summer and early fall---Disney here we come!
Oh and we fly Providence- PVD to MCO and back
I booked 3 round-trip tickets this morning, 12/1-12/17, MCO - LAX. I anticipated that standard awards would not be available for the return, so I had converted 4 round-trip standard to 4 one-way Freedom in February. Glad I did! I was able to use standard awards for the outbound, but none available for the return. Airfare is still the same as this morning.

I was ultimately able to book all 3 of us, LAX - MCO and back w/out plane changes and only have the $5/per ticket fee for the bookings! 
Add in 3x EBCI each way and the 2x$59 annual fee for the Visa cards...our grand total for flying in December is $193!!!! I am so happy I can't hardly stand it....

I decided to just call yesterday about 6 am CT & book the 4 RR Awards
No wait and she said the flights just opened up and she had to log on again to book
We wanted to leave on Nov 18th and come back the Friday after Thanksgiving
There was nothing available on early non stops only the flight that would arrive in Disney at 10:30 pm we didnt want to lose a whole day in Disney so decided to take the late flight on the 17th and book another day
Flight back we got NS on the 25th leaving Disney 3:30 pm which works out good for us
Cant complain as flight were free besides the 2 annual fees, SW fees and we did the Early Bird so total of $218.00 ofr hte 4 of us

It was earlier than that; closer to 6:00 a.m. ET. The site can be a little dodgy at first. It will show the new dates, then not show them, then show them but not let you book, etc. I actually booked one set of tickets right at about 6:05 a.m. ET and then went to book a second set, only to have the site tell me that they weren't open for my dates (even though that date was earlier than the date I had just booked)!
TY! How did you know what time they would open? The last time I booked (back in 2009), the fares weren't released until 10 AM or so. SW has changed release times since then?
