Cathy, I actually didn't have any symptoms from the thyroid. My doc noticed during a routine check that it was enlarged. I've had hypothyroid for years so maybe there were symptoms and I just didn't notice them.

It sounds like you are going through SO much!! Stay strong and keep the faith--you never know what wonderful things are waiting around the next corner!! And, I know it's cliche, but God never gives us more than we can handle--even if sometimes we wish He didn't trust us so much!!!
